I live on a native reservation in the US and it is NOTHING like the conditions in Gaza, even before October 7. I could go on and on. Obviously the history of reservations is very, very dark and screwed up, and a lot of reservations are plagued with drug, alcohol, and gambling addiction and have high crime and poverty rates. I’m not saying they’re great or that there’s nothing to worry about, but it is NOTHING like Palestine/Gaza. They have it so much worse than we do, which is saying a lot. They ARE and WERE in constant danger and are being exterminated like pests and the entire world is watching it happen. Meanwhile, I have a safe warm house, food to eat, a job, my friends and family are safe and live nearby, I’m relaxing at home watching KZfaq ffs. It is just not comparable, at all. This argument doesn't make sense to me. Why do hundreds of hours of research and speak to experts on all sides of the matter for something you don't believe in? If he just wants to grift he can do so without doing any boring research. One thing Destiny always says in the hundreds of podcasts he finds himself in is that people fundamentally want everyone to be able to purse happiness and freedom etc. He says multiple times, and even in his closing statement on this very debate, that one of his goals for engaging in such debates is to advocate for a realistic solution to the Isreal/Palestine conflict, and that would result in less Palestinians dying. If you believe he's lying, then why? Do you genuinely think he's some kind of crazy sadist? Hasan's been talking about Palestine for almost ten years now, you can look up his videos in the Young Turks channel. As for why he doesn't interact with Destiny, per his own words, he doesn't want to give him cloud and he knows there'd be a mountain of hate -more than usual- against him from the "Daliban" whatever the outcome of the conversation be. I personally believe that aside from those reasons, he knows he won't be able to stay in control and will mald almost inmediately, Hasan and Destiny hate each other and his talking style is way slower, way more paused than Bonerelli's ketamine explosion so he'll come across as the loser of the "debate" even if he has better talking points (which he has). Destiny is great for someone who doesn't know anything about an issue and is easily impressed by eloquency and dramatic declamation, aside from that, almost anyone with a little knowledge of any issue knows Destiny is extremely bias and even if he memorizes a lot of information, he lacks critical thinking to interpret the facts
