Great video! I have also found that The Black Garden is a great place to farm. You get three bosses back to back, and all you have to do is go to orbit immediately after killing the third boss and repeat.

First of all, great video. I will for sure use ur strategy to help my character. And second, i would like to point out that u can use this method on the dreadnaught patrol. In the starting room where u spawn in, these little taken grenades activate and taken will spawn in through waves. If u keep going through each wave, eventually there will b a boss that counts as an ultra. Use a three of coins and u r for sure to get some exotics if u keep going. Thank u for the strategies and i hope u could suggest this method in another vid like this. :D

Ya, Once I Had The Best Stuff In The Game. Then The Stuff Tripled. Then I Got That Stuff. And They Added More. It's Actually Stupid Now. Plus I Had A Really Good And Highly Upgraded Helmet, And They Just Go And Remove Helmets And I Lose Half My Armor And I Die Too Fast Now. It Just Makes Me Angry. >:(

if you are fighting the fanatic of crota you can use the combo, weak, weak, and strong, for slash slash uppercut. it does more damage. just for tips

In KingsFall, the Shades of Oryx can drop exotics, I got 4 from the shades on my last run, and 1 from Warpriest and Golgoroth each.

Another good Ultra that I like killing is the hidden Ultra Knight on the Dreadnaught. I don't know if it's a bug but sometimes he has been the only ultra to drop 2 Exotic Engrams off 1 Three of Coins. It happened today and last week :)

No, killing the boss is what takes away the buff, then you'll have to activate it again after killing the boss, if you're doing the winter kell mission then you'll have to use the buff again after respawning & killing the boss.

also for anyone not having the best luck staying in that same strike playlist by not going to orbit will give you better loot so if after every strike you go to orbit your chances of an exotic will lower

The Black Garden mission is also a good way to get Exotic Engrams, since there 3 ultras to kill at the end.

Easiest way to see if it is an Ultra: does it have a white shield bar? If it as a shield like Omnigul or the Flayers do then it won't count. Same goes for Kragoor. It it doesn't have a shield like Warpriest or Golgoroth then it does count and can drop the exotic

Though my honest opinion: Exotic farming is the... Less patient way of getting exotics, with legendary's you always have a chance of getting exotics, so in a way legendary AND exotic farming can be the same, exotic engrams are just the more garenteed way, Nice video though! Like the way you explain things, walk people through, not make it more complex than it is, ect, keep up the good work!

you can complete "The Black Garden" mission and there are 3 Vex ultras at the end that you can farm I do this because it is a really low lvl missions so you can just run through and kill them over and over again

Hey mate you don't kill the 3 ultras at the end of the ''Black Garden" mission? Kill the first ultra, pop another 3 of coins, kill the 2nd ultra, pop a 3 of coins, rocket yourself and final ultra, respawn and quickly go to orbit. Rinse and repeat. I've had 2 of the 3 ultras drop exotics (this month alone). You can leave the mission after the first exotic drop and wait out the 15 min 3 of coins timer or just keep blasting them!!! Let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Racer

better strategy is to fire up the eye of a gate lord story mission on venus go to the boss part pop a 3 of coins kill the boss and (doesn't matter if you get exotic) then go to orbit, go back in the mission and a checkpoint should be there

Any enemy with a energy shield for example omnigul is not considered a ultra.

Ok but if you play a strike, pop a three of coins and kill the ultra but don't get anything would you just replay the strike Or play another strike and keep switching from all of the strikes? Also does it matter when you pop the three of coins, like right when the ultra spawns should you pop it for better luck or does it not matter? Thanks
