Select "The Summoning Pits" strike on the Moon and then increase the difficulty from Easy to Normal(320+ Light). When you defeat the boss at the end you will get up to 385 light drops. Easiest way to 385 for sure

I have to agree archons forge was good to me to get to 386 for my hunter and 384 on my titan especially with better chances for ghost and artifacts

Just to clarify, the tons of blue engrams you'll get in Archos forge are still 365 max. It's only the gear from the boss that can be 385 (unless your blue engrams becomes a legendary item)

I'll just wait till Iron Banner drop again to reach 400 I can't find a decent or dedicated team to complete heroic raid and its to much of an hassle to find the right people to do it.

Your vids really help man I work 11 hour shifts Monday-Saturday kids wife and bills taking them out gives me so little time to play and your vids are not only awesome but they allow me to play destiny with out having to do so much figuring. I stored around 30 legendary engrams in my vault. Was 368 before decrypting. Went to 374 after. Then went and did strikes. Around 6 or 7. Went up to 379. Then went to the forge and did siva offerings for about an hour and a half. Finished the night on 384. Nearly 20 light levels in about 4 hours of play. Got a vangaurd pack and a dead orbit package too.

One thing I've noticed, If all of your armor/weapons are at 365, most if the engrams and any other drops will only go a few LL higher. For example, if my hunter is 365. Engrams will drop anywhere between 366-370, maybe more. Doesn't matter what mission, event, playlist you do. It'll only go up little by little. In case some are assuming, he's not saying it will jump from 365 to 385 (if you're lucky) because you're doing something he saying you should be doing, but it'll go up a bit faster once you hit those marks. Artifacts from those chest can *possibly* drop 385L. It'll still take lots of grinding. If you have a free day or 2, play these all day, for hours. you'll go up 25-30+ light for sure.

doing 320 strikes will also drop skeleton keys, so if you can do those faster than heroic strikes, you might as well do those if you're above 385.

I have an exotic idea that would be really good for the raid. The null loaders Cosmetics- small shoulder pads and thick wrist part of gauntlet, when fully upgraded dark purple void flows out of shoulder pads and wrist gauntlets both connected by almost a wire of void (3).quote "Ha you and what army" "This one."Exotic perk- My army, weapons reload blindingly fast inside the ward of dawn. The rest are normal perks except you can choose two instead of one, sniper is guaranteed to be there. I thought of this during vosik while using the Devils dawn hope you like it

To get to 385 the Forge is definitely the way to go. Crazy how much gear I got from there last night.

Of note, decrypting exotic engrams does not automatically give you a higher light item once you are over 390. I just had a primary exotic engram decrypt at 391, but my character is 392 and I had a 392 primary equipped.

I completely agree with the Archon's Forge... I got 14 light levels just in a few on Tuesday. From 353 to 367.

I was at 380 and was holding on to my legendaries and blues until tuesday so I could get high light stuff. After 45 minutes of decrypting, I got to level 385 while pulling 2 exotics, Sealed Ahamkara Grasps and Ophidian Aspects. I was super happy.

In my opinion, doing the heroic strikes is the best way to get 385 light level, and if youre popping Three Of Coins everytime, then once you are 385 from the strikes you will have saved exotic engrams to help get you above the 385 light level

FYI, I'm 399 and every single one of my WotM drops were 400. All of my Nightfall drops were also 400, but my exotic engrams are still mostly decypting into 399.

Iron Banner has been the easiest way to level up for me. I'm 398 now and still have not found people to play the Trials with. Have you noticed hardly anyone has there settings on public or talks on the mic.

For 385+ players, 320 light strikes are better than heroic strikes. The 320 light strikes have a higher chance to drop skeleton keys and they are way shorter, meaning you can blow through more three of coins. At this light level, it's all about exotics, strike hoard chests, and the hard raid, so you want to make sure you use your time as wisely as possible.

I main on PS4, but I always had my XB1 which I played Destiny on from year one to pre TTK, I made so many friends on Xbox, but then I saw the Limited Edition TTK PS4 that I fell in love with. So I bought it and moved to PSN to get recognized there too! I made so many friends but then I realized that I've played on PSN for a year straight and I have completely forgot about XBL, my friends missed me. My character was at the old 310 LL, so I came back this Monday that has passed. I got from 310 to 380 in just three days, and I have passed...all of them? Anyways I'm back to stay, I'm back to help all the people through every activity and to reclaim my position as a true Sherpa.

I can't believe bungie actually changed the decryption level for engrams. It never made sense that blues only decrypted up to 350. This made it such a pain to get to 350 because of how stingy the ghost and artifact drops are. And not being only to do daily heroic story missions for marks made it even more of a pain, because you have to be 350 (or at least, it's recommended) in order to do those effectively. You also can't do heroic strikes (for obvious reasons) in order to get the extra marks that way either. This just leaves PvP, and I hate PvP so damn much. I'm about 344 (I forgot, it's been a while since I played), and I just stopped caring. Playing every day for a week and only going up 1-2 levels was ridiculous. Good on bungie for changing this. I may actually get back into it now.

Archons forge also drops a bunch of legendary engrams for regular gear that can get up too 400 light

I have gotten plenty of legendary engrams in archon's forge that dropped over 385.

Fastest way other than Raid, Mayhem Clash whenever it's around. 3oC every match that lasts only about 6 mins plus Crucible booster = Profit

Don't forget the Weekly Crucible Bounty. I got a 390 Supercell when I was a 385. I don't know what the max is, but 390 is possible.

I just did the raid with people I met on destinylfg and it was some of the most fun I've had in destiny so if not having enough friends is holding you back from doing it then I'd strongly recommend trying one of those sites

Play the game. That's really all he's telling you to do. When u get to higher light levels do the corresponding activity. That is all these tutorials ever tell you.

I saved all my exotic engrams I got last week and if I got any skeleton keys. Yesterday I had 12 exotic engrams to turn in and 6 skeleton keys total. I had 4 but got 2 more doing the nightfall yesterday. I was able to get my hunter to 391 last night and need a piece of gear that's 1 light lvl up to reach 392.

Crucible only drops legendary weapons and class items up to 400 LL. I need a 400 chest piece, and with no 3 of coins I'm kinda snookered until Friday.

I think I'd be a good idea if we were able to trade in a siva cache key for a skeleton key because the drop rate feels too low

community is trash on ps4 so hard to get a raid group without people quitting or leaving early i really hate raids,destiny2 needs raid matchmaking

Archon's forge would be viable, but you aren't guaranteed a reward. Therefore, heroic strikes are the best to get 385. Also, siva offerings aren't guaranteed either.

I have been doing regular strikes like the normal strikes and I am getting loot up to 383 because that's the light level I'm at and i am saving some legendary engrams in my vault so I can get even higher stuff and then some of my packages are getting close so by the time I'm 385 or 390 I will open those and then probably just grind nightfall and achrons forge

Ok, thing with archons forge. I was farming for 2 HOURS the other day, and only got a But Not Forgotten 3 light below. In Siva strikes, in two hours I climbed about 9 light. "Yes do archons forge" "it is the best"

Exotic engrams stopped decrypting above my light level once I hit the 392-393 mark.

IF you get loot in Archons forge, IF. Not every ones random drop rate is equal haha. I've done several..seeeveral in a row with nothin.

Hi I had a Blue engram drop in Archon's Forge last night at 393 I'm at 390 level at the moment I nearly dismantled it as it was a blue.

stuck on 391. heroic wotm, isn't currently a viable option. weapon drops from cruicable aren't to shabby, but armour from them is quite rare. I'll have to stock up on skeleton keys also from std strikes.

But Archon's forge is so hard to farm when you can only hold one offering at a time...

I disagree with you kackis, the 385 light lvl drops in norm mode for wraith of the machine. It's recommended to be 370 and people ask for much higher lights.
