Went back on Destiny 1 and did this quest line today as a solo to get some nostalgia. The "A Symbol of Honor" mission was so fun and challenging. The self-detonating and normal shanks were so many of. Had the best breath of relief of my life after defusing the 2nd bomb. I Miss these grindy days, but Destiny 2 is really fun as well.

Datto Does Destiny Again

Got burnt out of d2 came back to d1 and here’s dattos guide to help me do quests

I remember staying home from school the day Rise of Iron launched. I was in queue for an hour and a half. I played through the whole story and grinded the medallions. I saw someone also doing it so I invited them to the party. We searched Reddit and KZfaq for a couple spots, and found the rest ourselves. He had to get off and I never played with him again. But I still remember him, maybe not his gamertag but I remember him. I got Gjallarhorn before any of my friends finished the main story. Thank you random Xbox gamer. :)

Another siva sample can be found on the highest level of the ship after entering with a splicer key go to the back right corner area as well as one in the siva replication chamber in the back of the area.

Who else is going back to D1? Lol... I will day this. D2 has so much potential. What’s it missing? Care. Make us care. Story. Let’s progress it already. Bosses. Lets make them last and stop killing them in 2 hours. Strikes. More of them... recycle from D1 if you have too. I’m finding out nostalgia is rather cool. Cut scenes... lots of them. Cool shit. Like, you know... our vanguard leaders doing wild shit proving they are the bosses they are. Going back to the care part... you killed cayde. We knew about it months before it happened. A very pivotal part of the story, tarnished. Get control over the data mining please. This will also help when people get pissed about exotic weapon missions like... bastion. If we didn’t KNOW bastion was already coming, people may have not been so pissed off about that mission. Sun setting... don’t sunset pinnacles. We worked hard for those. Days. Months... fuck you if you sun set them. Sunset everything else. Not those. Also, look at D1 legendarys. They were, I don’t know... good? Unlike D2. Now... the end all is this. You wanna make an rpg/mmo... ok, well let’s look at what’s successful. Final fantasy. Suikoden. Shit like that... play those games. Come back. Mix them with destiny... and by God... you’ll have the best game ever made. See ya.

If you don't have the splicer key, go to dock 13, and turn left where you face the first boss in the game and you'll find another siva cluster. There is also weapon parts in the back in case you want the khvostov exotic.

"This needs to be on the snowy version of the cosmodrone" wow so fucking specific and efficient...

When they said the quest was going to be hard, I thought you would have to do the raid to find pieces to build it... this seems pretty simple

Can you use a splicer key more than once or does it go after you use it once?

this was kinda confusing, i didn't know how to get to most of these places

datto if you dont already know if you keep climbing up where u get 7th medallion on fellwinters peak all the way up to the top of the mountain you can find another fragment where a 4th fire is lit

there is also an iron medallion in the building on the right. as you walk in, its on the left on the floor of a workshop

they gotta make the iron gjallarhorn a ornament in a future update

+Datto Do you remember when Bungie announced the rest of Year 2 content would be free and they suddenly decided to do Rise of Iron instead of Forge of the Gods for the Cabal storyline? Yeah... these "Year 3" exotics fall under the Year 2 tabs if you check the exotic vendor panels at the Tower.

Thought this might help, if you don't have a spare key and can't get the third is a cluster he listed. Try running down to the bottom of the pit where the final mission is set and just run straight to the left of where you spawn, follow the wall until you find a cave and grab the cluster.

I found some new SIVA dormant clusters. Go to the Iron Temple, ignite the fire in the middle and jump on top of the building with the gate. One is there. Then, go down the mountain as far as possible as if you were reversing the first Rise of Iron mission. There are a few on the wat down, they are esay to spot.

for your fragment video, when you first beam down to the plaguelands, go left, keep going til you get to the bunker triglav. small tower in the middle with a rocket next to it. go all the way upstairs and behind a computer monitor is a fragment. tell em DarkRonin sent you...

Rise of iron was a total fail, first there was the massive server issues which lasted an hour and a half before people were able to sign in and people are still having issues at this moment. Then there's the campaign which is 5 mission which takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete. And the enemies are just reskinned old enemies and going by the last raid and how quickly people completed which was like 6 hours, I bet the raid will be as more easy as the last raid and will be beaten within a couple of hours. $30 bucks for this shit? Come on bungie. Just face the facts your game is going down hill and dying. Stop with the shit dlc and bring out a new destiny game which is actually worth the money. Ps, rip destiny when battlefield 1 and the new cod and remastered cod4 comes out.

What a GRAND feeling it is to destroy your enemies in the snow.

Instead of collecting the Siva cluster locked behind the splicer key wall, simply climb felwinter’s peak and grab that one, a lot easier imo

If yall are still having trouble looking for a cluster there is one on the first mission. Get on the gondola and after it breaks jump down and go straight until you're at the edge of the cliff and look to your right you can jump on some rocks and in between the cracks of the rocks is one cluster

A thing i did to find medallions is aim you sniper scope and it will be highlighted if you are in the areas
