Wikipedia states: "Tim Barlow, who played Tyssan, was deaf at the time of filming". Is that true? If so that's insane! There's got to be more to this vague bit of trivia.

I believe Mary Tamm once siad that if she had been oftered a traditional regeneration scene, she would have done it.

I really enjoyed this one, which is surprising because I've not really enjoyed a story this much since Horror of Fang Rock, and I've heard nothing but bad things for this one. Its not perfect, but its just fun. I was really excited for next week's story but your last comment has really confused me.

I love City of Death.

The Daleks are never scarier than here. And the Time War rly enriches Romana's reaction to the Daleks. This season is the low point for Tom Baker. It's when you realise he has stayed on too long. The season after isn't much better either. At least this season has higher highs. City of Death is the Blink of the classics - good but very overrated.
