Was an absolute BLAST out at the range that day. Met ALOT of awesome people. I remember watching Matt growing up across all three channels and the rest of the groups of guys, and now to have the chance to have experienced it firsthand was truly inspirational. I'm positive there was a whole lot of people shooting other people's guns not being familiar with how much the vertical draw might be on some of the fully automatic big boys. @@keepironman14 I watch it on my computer, earbuds are not an option. it was all good, I just turned the sound down as low as I could. He is a pretty sound sleeper for the most part. Besides after 23 yrs he is used to be watching videos at night while he sleeps. As I have a lot of trouble sleeping so he gets it.

I'd disagree with this. When real steel firearms are a mainstay for the property, mixing in paintball would be a bad idea and airsoft would be an even worse idea from a safety and liability standpoint.

From what Matt has described, a paintball course could be done safely. You could have some awesome CQB in the thick cedar thickets.

@@gofoats my idea is just a way to get people out there and create a destination revenue stream that would be relatively inexpensive to set up, while he probably has very high liability insurance already having a range. With more that 200 acres it would just be a matter of clearing out areas and creating obstacles. It could also be later used for instructional tactical courses with non lethal being used on the course….pretty much the sky is the limit

You were right about the berm. Lots of stuff hitting right at the top of it in that mad minute. You may even want to make it taller.

It would probably be easier to design a platform to do these crazy moments from instead of building the berm higher. Having the rounds angle downwards while shooting would probably be more effective than just adding a few more feet too.

You should get about 6 or 8 stoplights similar to what Cleet is using on the burnout pads to set the range hot or cold.

That was a great show. Awesome to see all the folks out. Crazy to think there are still a lot that were not here!! As big as this was, you can definitely go bigger!!! Totally on my bucket list of events now. I'm in southwest Oklahoma and this would be one of the few things I would actually take off work to go to. I'm only around 850 subs right now, but I will keep working away at it and earn myself an invite. Way to go, Matt and Brandon and Cody. You started off with a huge bang! Can't wait to see what else you do.

02:45 ... that's what you need for your range... a paved helipad so dust doesn't fly everywhere (or a nice lawn, but that requires watering and mowing (although, with removable posts, a lawn area would allow tents for picnic-style kicking back from a safer distance from the firing line)... something to think about.
