Sokoto, Kanu, culture, architecture, traditional clothing similar to Arab-Berber on Mauritania, Libya, Niger and Morocco. the south you go, architecture it tottally different like Ashanti, Dohomey and Benin.

Totally untrue Emir Aliyu Maje korafi AKA Ali Babba was not even in kano when kano was invaded by the British. He was on his way back from Sokoto when he was ambushed in kwatarkwashi. Where he self exiled him self and was eventually captured by Gobir people. You need to go back and learn more about the caliphate

Those white soldiers saved nations around Sokoto. People ignore the brutal slave raids done by fellows of Usman dan Fodio the leader of Sokoto.

@@usmannurudeen1919 But he is right. Not only that but the same Hausa Fulani went over to become the British most loyal servants. Read "Colonialism by Proxy: Hausa Imperial Agents and Middle Belt Consciousness in Nigeria" that will give the basic jist.
