Great job on this, was really cool to relive all of that. I remember watching this live when I was young and thinking how cool it was, like something out of a movie. Definitely not the civil approach, but if the man was suicidal, he probably wanted to express the pain they caused him over the years. Nice to know that there weren't any innocent casualties.

he had HEAPS of money. He even had inherited his dads entire estate. He profited massively from the sale of his property. Seriously, he sold his property, lived renting in it for 18 months, bought a massive bulldozer, spent all that time building it... he was a lunatic who was out to get anyone who dared defy him. He has a history of this. When he first moved to that town he lobbied to get gambling legalised there. When he was questioned by a reporter who was against the idea he threatened violence against him. He was clearly a loose nut. I mean, the cheque incident was a perfect example. He wrote the cheque out wrong, they asked him to correct it and he flew off the handle. All he had to do was make a small correction and it was fine, and yet he believed that tiny request was enough for him to declare they were all against him and deserved destruction. Tell me that is a reasoned thought process.

@@patricialenaburg6553 I wonder if any laws have been changed to not let that happen. IF I was his age and just as mad, no money, nothing to lose. He should not have killed himself on the spot but speak up about even if it was jail IT WOULD NOT be life in jail unless super screwed on that too.

Revisiting this 2/9/21... This man felt that the media, business, and government all teamed up against him to bully him out and destroy his life. Many people feel that way today...
