In summary, it looks like no matter which method you use to det (detpipe, +attack2, or special) the timing for both individual dets and det-and-repipe sequences is virtually identical.
The difference between the slowest test run (which used +attack2) and the fastest test runs (most of which also used +attack2) is only 3 frames, and over 70% of these runs had a 1-frame difference. Let me know if you want to see the spreadsheet, or have any other questions.
Are there flaws in my testing, or does this debunk the age-old theory that detpipe is the fastest det command?
