El, thank you for your excellent introduction to this Luma 18L! Honestly I was surprised to see your Fuji GFX body fitting in, because my Nikon Z8 wouldn’t fit in the same orientation as your GFX does. However, once I moved the top compartment divider down a few inches, I was able to get the Z8 with a 24-120 zoom straight down into that space, with room for a 14-30 f/4 and a bunch of accessories. Also surprising that it’s so comfortable on the back, given the relatively thin straps compared to the McKinnon 25L camera backpack! Kudos to McKinnon and NOMATIC!

Thank you so much for the view and I am so happy it worked out with you and your Z8! I was really hoping the side access door would fit the GFX, but it fit my a6700 just fine! Can't have it all in these bags, but overall really good for EDC! Working on a followup video in the next few weeks.

Thanks El! Having had several backpacks with that side access panel, IMHO most were designed for smaller bodies like those from Sony or Olympus. The only bag I have that can handle a FF body through the side access panel is the McKinnon 35L. Of course I don’t always need that large a backpack for EDC, which is why I like the Luma 18L. Enjoy it and your photography!

@@stevetqp9152 That is true! I tried my R5 and it technically can get through the side access panel, but again, rarely will be doing that anyway. The overall fit and finish of the bag is great and fits the needs!

I've seen numerous reviews on luma, but this video has been described in the most detail. It helped me a lot to buy. Thank you

you think this would fit, A7CII, 2/3 lenses, mini 3 pro, sony wh-10003 headphones? Debating this or Urban Explore, but definitely want a bag that can stand on its own.
@elJong3 ай бұрын
Oh yeah! No issues adding a mirrorless body and a few lenses. The Mini 3 Pro will fit too with the remote (I have the Mini 4 Pro), but maybe not all the extra battery/charger as well since you want to put a few lenses. The Sony headphones you have can be in the loft of the bag. I would pick the Luma if you are more EDC, and the Shimoda if you want the option of going rugged.

Hi! Saw your review and look so helpful. Do you think PD capture click will fit perfectly. Planning to buy this bag soon.

It can definitely fit on either of the straps! I have done it myself.

12L sling hoping it fits my compact Sony mirrorless, GM 24-70 and GM(II) 70-200

It seems like it should with the lens hood tucked! Looking forward to seeing how you deck out yours!

Sorry to hear that your gear not fit. I also interest this bag but i think my sl2s might not fit with this bag.

My GFX fits, it just doesn't slide out the side pocket. Smaller cameras shouldn't be too much of a problem.
