The Toeside Backroll was the second flip I landed but the first one that I understood what was happening while going upside down. If you can currently do a backflip on a trampoline, off a diving board, or into the water off of something, this could be the first flip for you because it is very similar to a straight back flip. BUT, understanding how the water works and the power of cutting through the wake works is the most important thing when learning inverts on your wakeboard. When you understand this and feel this for the first time, you will get the sensation that the board is carrying you through the flip rather than you dragging it around. I still love doing this flip because of the Gainer feeling. Enjoy your ride!
