I wish I could be that confident in telling people I'm autistic. I only got diagnosed a couple years ago and am still coming to terms with the fact I am allowed to care for my mental health. I'm getting there though!

@@racheljackson3629 He thinks, because you're autistic, you should take a more literal interpretation of his words rather than just directly attacking an implication that was never stated. I think he has a point though, as someone with autistic friends who do act like this is it's very much something that isn't intrinsic to their autism but something, that maybe because of their autism, is a lot more difficult to internalize. Like even on a completely logical level pointing out that you have autism and getting confused by common social circumstances is something that you learn to overcome. As an example: I've heard that many autistic people find the disingenuous "how are you?" quite confusing. As a child they may give a genuine response with too much detail but then they learn that "how are you?" should just be responded to with "good, how are you?" unless the person has made it explicitly clear they are looking for a genuine response.
Increíble final 😱
