Thanks for the confirmation. This is definitely useful pre-Dream of Nioh. Once scroll of the damned is unlocked that will be the most efficient way to farm ranged weapons.

Did you farm the drops or trade your current ethereal gear? Do they keep their plus value?

@@Sagorious I just had a bunch of extra ethereal weapons so I traded them. And no they do NOT keep plus values but it is really easy to get +20 because of how ethereal soul matching works

@@hussainahmad6381 They take your item, in my case a weapon, and give you back a random new weapon with entirely new stats. So I start with one weapon say an ethereal katana and drop it to a sudama and he picks it up and gives me back an ethereal splitstaff. My farm was to keep dropping whatever I got until I got a weapon with the correct grace or grace inheritance star effect

Any enemise that are using guns or bows will drop them i mentioned it in the video, but when it involves killing you will need luck to farm efficiently. Looting containers and corpses like these does not. Lucky drop will include your equipped melee weapons so the pool for the drops will be larger. It’s up to the players what they want to do. I just want to give options here.

Yup it’s the Magara theme from Nioh 2 OST.

Refined man of the underworld is where i’m doing all my farming using a penance stone usually at +5 and with lucky drop on my gear. All of my rarity and grace inheritance i got from there. You can also try sudama trading in sub mission “the search” at the first region. There are 4 sudamas there i think, just drop them any spare ethereal weapon that you have and they will give you back a different one.

any mission on wise can drop ethereals. rng is part of game, use new temper options and try to get stone highest possible before it becomes too difficult for you. a voice in the twilight in first region i like to farm because its short and easy plus gozuki cores

You can easily get accessories now by tempering “lucky drop (accessories)” in your gear. But if you need something like this, there is a sub mission in the first region called “the greedy hunter” that’s where i farmed all my yasakani before. When you spawn in to the mission turn around there will be a path follow it to a cliff-side road. At the end of this road there will be a small house, inside is a small box in a corner that will always give you an accessory. Use the same method i showed here to farm that box. Also in the 4th region, sub mission “abduction” there is a corpse near the starting shrine surrounded by gakis, that corpse also gives out accessories everytime.

Yeah this is based on RNG. You might want to try newer methods of farming now like the underworld.

@@DetMiko I started doing the mission "the search" ,got plenty ethereals but no ranged weapons and no marici's grace. As far as you know,is it possible to get marici's grace on kusarigama? Thanks a lot

I tried it and still got an ethereal. There are no updates released to the game since then. Don’t forget to branch out after second try otherwise it will always be the same from 3rd try onwards.

Just double check what difficulty you're on. Make sure you are on Dream of the Wise.

Yesterday was the last time i used this and it’s still working. No recent update since then was released for the game.

Of course they patched it. Anything that makes farming not take 500 hours, or puts players on level with the enemies they'll patch lol.

They are pretty easy to get. Sub mission “a voice in the twighlight” gives 1 branch upon completion. If your farming ethereals do it there if you don’t have any branches. Otherwise do this farm after you level up and then use branch fragment instead of a branch.

If you are doing the instructions in the video as it is then you should get one. Otherwise it is just bad RNG. Things to double check are: 1) make sure your world difficulty is set to dream of the wise. 2) branch out of the mission after 2 tries and restart the mission again. 3) do not pick up any non-ethereal drop from the corpse.
