It’s about time someone else made axels for class 8 trucks. I like the idea of needle bearings for the king pins to ride on in the front axel assembly’s.

Received the CV Axles on 9/8/2021 and inspected the two CV Axles when I received the package. Order two front CV Axles for my vehicle. Detroit Axle sent me CV Axles with boots that are dry rotted and there is no grease packed into the bearings of the CV Axles. Manager of Detroit Axle refused to send me an exchange and said to me I sent you a return label. Send back the CV Axles and we will fully test the CV Axles and if we find they are defective we will refund your money but minus shipping, and/or when we test the CV Axles and they are not defective then we will refund your money minus shipping fees. What? wait a minute Detroit Axle will not do an exchange. Remind you I just received the two axles on 9/8/2021. Every customer service rep I've ever spoken to at Detroit Axle has been rude.

For those who are confused...Detroit Axles & Manufacturing (Class 5-8 Truck parts) is NOT associated with Detroit Axle of Ferndale, Michigan. Detroit Axles is also historically known as Detroit Diesel...been around 80 years...Detroit Axle has 60 employees and has only been incorporated for about 18 years. I'm quite surprised that Detroit Axles hasn't sued Detroit Axle for Copyright infringement, actually. But, hey...you got crappy parts on EBay, and you aren't driving a 'Big Truck'...blame Detroit Axle, not 'Axles'.

There seem to be a lot of people confused between Detroit Axle (eBay etc Chinese junk) and Detroit Axles ( company in this video) , what’s sad is it is Americans that don’t know. Buying cheap junk, then blaming another American made company for something they had nothing to do with 🤦🏻‍♂️

Probably replaced by the WONDEE Chinese axle makers. Will we ever get over the COVID 19? I believe that every persons family that has died from covid19, ought to sue China. You know, ole uncle Ho’s, uh, Joe’s & buddies and his sons millions on millions of favoritism country!!! Never thought I’d see my country become a socialist state of China. Da+&! I hope GOD will help us all.

@@husq2100 dial gauge, Klingenberg gear measurement, SAP enterprise software and I suppose even more ...beside that - I indeed like that vid. Straight to the point, showing the advantages of the product with a very technical view... I would say without " Schnick Schnack"... when I would write a script for my products it would look pretty similar

WARNING: Hello I bought a kit for my Silverado and the little silver nuts with the blue nylon are to soft of a metal to use safely on a vehicle. I just used a little 8 inch hand wrench and the nut pulled the threads right out .So I hope nobody uses these nuts and bought better nuts. Somebody could get killed driving down the road with these faulty low grade nuts.

I just received front suspension set for my 04 f250 6.0 and the steering link came without a rubber boot onit. I emailed Detroit Axles with photos and the reply was you are right the rubber boot is missing. We can give you a 5 dollar partial refund. I was like "what"? No I want you to send a replacement and I will send this one back to you. So yea you may ha e to tighten quality control a bit

Bought an Detroit Axle hub bearing for my 2009 Cobalt in Sept 2017 and it went bad by June 2018. If I can get a refund or replace the part I'll try them again if not never again.

Just my own opinion. I have worked on differentials, trannys and drive line for 43 years. This is the worst differential ever made!. Pinion nuts come loose, spline wear on the pinion gear and pinion splines. And did I mention the pinion nuts always come loose! The idea of having the 2 pinion bearings in between the pinion teeth and the pinion gear is not a very good idea, engineers seem to think so. Try working on one. And the cost to repair! Even with quality aftermarket parts are expensive. Get ready when your Casadia breaks down. Be glad to see you in the shop. Double the price of a Dana or Meritor axle. And these 2 are far better axle than Detroit (Mercedes, Alliance )

@Maple Leafs their pinion looks like most conventional diff pinions I’m familiar with (general 4x4) I’m not understanding what you mean regarding the pinion bearings? 🤷🏻‍♂️

pat yourself on the back there axholes there built along the same line as their engines, cant you afford another building ? the biggest box in north america, oh and the lightest ? eco-friendly too !
