That (throttle) controls the idle from low to high basically it's a warmup/fast idle cable

Hey, what about the compressed air outlet in the glove box? The rifle rack is new. We used to hook the handle of the M16 on the thumb screw of the windshield hinge/ strut with muzzle pointing to the floor. The fire extinguisher used to ride in the OVM box under the drivers door

j dog you are correct. There is a "glad hand" directly under the glove box on the firewall. In our case, the rifle rack was added during the restoration

G'day,...... At 8:27 you say "pushing IN the 'engine stop' will cut off the electrics" is wrong! The engine is a pure 'Compression ignition device' it cuts off the FUEL it dose'nt need any electricity to run. But great video otherwise. At 13:33 you said the switch "engages the front wheels", actually the wheels are always connected to the axles unless you have 'free wheeling hubs' and I can see you don't. That switch connects the front drive shaft at the transfer case, with it set to 'OUT' your dragging the axle-diff and drive shaft but don't worry because its not doing any harm. Aussie.

The price of a deuce is around $3,000. I had a uncle who bought 2 deuce and a half’s and a lowboy trailer and truck all for $5-6,000
@MikeDCWeld5 жыл бұрын
The price of a Deuce can vary considerably and largely depends on condition and location/seller. The more work it needs done the lower the price. The less common they are in the area the higher the price. The more money a particular person has invested in it the higher the price. Two basically identical trucks can sell for substantially different prices depending on these highly variable factors.

You need to learn about your truck before talk about it. The engine stop cuts the fuel, the engine doesn't need electricity to run!

He also mentioned infrared for black out light on a truck designed in the 50s. The black out lights are designed to be seen by the naked eye only at short distances so that you dont run into the next truck in the convoy

why don't you make the duece your every day vehicle

Arthur Andrews although I would LOVE that, I dont think my school would appreciate me taking up 3 parking spots LOL. Also, it's not very practical. In the Winter, the heat isn't very good at all, due to all the holes in the cab, and the Windshield wipers are air powered, and very unreliable. I've seen people daily a deuce and a 1/2, but they're just very lacking in creature comforts, along with a very uncomfortable ride. It does get about 10 miles to the gallons though!
