Start "Confronting the Bomb-maker", follow this video (make sure not to trigger any Alex dialogue other than the first, otherwise The Heist will autofail). Once you finish the mission you can walk around the complex at will and then go do The Heist.
(Don't do the calibrator mission until after you do the Heist after this, otherwise you might soft-lock your game since it triggers twice)
Note: Since you can only do The Heist after, Miller will treat you as if you only did that one.

It could be nice but still the way the authors intended adds to replayability and realism, and to a gloomy cyberpunk feel, when there's rarely a good outcome for everybody, no matter how hard you try. It's a common theme in DX, Adam also has to make another similar choice - who gets the documents, and the idea is that you can't help everyone.

I did this on the PS5. It still causes the bank to fail. However, if you are trying to get the god killer achievement. Just have 1 save file *BEFORE* you chose to save the daughter or the bank heist. The 2nd save file is following this video to save the daughter. After you complete saving her, you get the achievement. Load the 1st save to chose to save the daughter or the bank. Chose the bank this time. Good luck everyone!

I did it. (03/05/2023) As @Darentius322 recall, you must access the subway station thru the hole next to Radich’s office inside the deepest level of the Dvali Theater. This way, Alex’s dialogues will not be triggered and you can follow the walkthrough as OP suggest. It is important to fall between the room and outside the map as OP did, otherwise, Alex will call you and bye bye bank heist.

The process worked for me up to getting the defuser. I have the mission to head to GARM but don't have the defuser. I've wrapped up the bank heist but that mission is also not progressing. I'm guessing my mistake was in not convincing her enough in the Cassie converation.

I just finished it on PS4. I had to dash a couple times when he was able to just jump, and I had a couple other minor issues, but I made it to the end, only triggered Alex's first convo, and completed it, and the moment I did it auto failed the heist. Glad I had a backup, cuz I want that fuckin vault lol

Why would it matter? You can still access the bank private vaults through the parkade without doing the mission.

One of the hardest quests to do a ninja run in the game and doing both with this glitch is a godsend. Plus, in almost meta-lore the Illuminati KNEW you could do either/ or and plays with your characters morale.

After speaking to (Hugh) Janus, don't enter a train station through the stairs, enter through the bottom of the theatre in dvali territory, that way the Alex dialog doesn't trigger at all and she doesn't call you about the bank, you can do both that way without the tricky jumping, after getting the signal jammer just go through one of the top three train stations and Alex will call you and tell you about the bank mission

you have to open the door as far away as possible or you'll trigger it, I tested it and it still works

Try it right now found a way to back of train station without going up and open the door as far as i can i even shoot the door with the gun and destroy it many times try it and didn't really work the alex trigger is on train station exactly where you pick travel area opening doors doesn't affect it. May can you provide a video or a screen shot / gif for prof or you just trolling

Yea maybe or your game is outdated I did exactly what you told open the door at the back of train station as far right? i did that couple of times even I shoot it with my guns from far away but still when i walk on the travel pick section alex trigger yea I'm agree better to have video of it to confirm :)

THIS CAN STILL BE DONE ON RECENT VERSION. You just need not to trigger conversation about choosing which mission you want to do when you enter metro. This can be done by using shaft in Radich Nikolatze office in Theater (open door by hacking Radiches computer after you dispose of him. Then do the bomb maker and go straight to the metro and to palisade and everything should go alright.

You can still do this on PC (Steam Version). All you have to do is manually put your game in the version state prior to the patch. Right click on the game, then beta, then version v10 Build 524.6. Load your game file and do everything the video tell you to do. Then head up to the Palisades, get the Orchid vaccine and meet Miller at the helipad. After the conversation, save your game and update your game again in the Steam Library. You should be fine from now on :D

It's worse than this- when you downgrade the game the save files get corrupted... (beta version won't load new saves). so essentially the only way to make this work is if you started playing the game using the beta mode, and then worked it through this part, then updated afterwards...

Still works as of yesterday Have to enter the North east Train station from the Rear enterance in the Dvali Theaters basement, then once at the church, Get outside the map to reach the 4th floor to avoid any triggers that will fail the Bank Job, especially the last trigger which happens if you get to close to the Target rooms Door Once you actully Deal with the church the triggers are all disabled and you can freely loot the place

Don't need Icaraus dash to do it. Use the garbage bin and steel bin stack them at the highest building point jump off to glitched area. Takes some effort and patience though

So for anyone who wants to do this, interesting things happen in the game if you do Also you have to enter the subway using the tunnel is radich's office so that you dont trigger the choice between bank or allison 1. You'll finish the church mission but the bank mission will always be active because when you talk to Miller it only does it for the church mission 2. You get the orchid cure but not the bomb jammer (at least it doesn't show up in the story items menu) 3. Allison is in the holding cell under tf29 headquarters 4. When doing the bank mission you have to exit and re enter the bank a couple times to get all the dialogue triggers to happen

Bomb Jammer is treated as a reskined multi tool, requireing its own 2 inventory slots

sadly, this isn't possible anymore. even if you managed to avoid the trigger at the door another trigger pops up after you get the signal jammer

Attempted recently on Mac OS. Can still get to Allison Stanek but after the dialogue Alex calls immediately to inform that VersaLife has left. He uses Icarus Dash at the first drop to lock into the wall/floor. Use again on the wall in the room to get in.

*Confirmed as of 12/13/19, latest version 1.19 build 801.0: For anyone who lands here, you can do this WITHOUT downgrading your version of Mankind Divided by following the instructions at kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hqqYhrOApuDMcnk.html (Thanks Fubar). I will note, however, if you're a purist, that this will keep M12 (Heist) in your journal for the rest of your game, and will likely add a second un-completable SM08 (The Fix). If you complete The Fix once, then try to complete it again, you will get the same Koller dialogue, however, part-way through the conversation, the game will freeze on a view of Koller's feet, and you will have to load.

Changing updates around, or starting a game and then updating (at least on ps4) disables most of your augs and ruins your game... Very tedious....

Did everything like in this vid but it didn't work for me. After the conversation with Allison and the cultists are arrested I get an automatic message from Alex and I've failed the heist mission. I don't like failing missions :(

Looks like this has been patched out as of Sept 2016. Tried this on the 18th. The out of bounds still works, but completing the mission autoprompts Alex's call auto failing The Heist.

why? Choice and consequence. Best is when the game autosaves immediately after a choice. No more "load and try again" bs. Learn to LIVE with your choices.

That's a shame. There should be an achievement for saving Allison AND doing the heist,similar to the achievement where you can save Jim, the delegates and stop Marchenko setting off the bombs.

Actually it does work but what the OP did not mention is the fact that for you to do both you need to reach the subway through the Devali Theatre lower level where Radich Nikoladze is located, there you have a hole in the wall through which you can reach the subway. If you do it like that then you will not get a prompt from Alex where you have to choose the Bank or Allison and you can go to Prekazka district and save Allison, once you've done that you can go back to the original subway station and get the prompt from which you can choose to do the Bank. I just did it and it worked.
