Mr. Kirmani apart from wicket keeping, also was a great batsman. Once I was watching a test match in Wankhede, Viswanath and Kirmani were batting. Kirmanis strokes matched very well with Viisvanathji.

I remember how we as teen avers were mesmerised by the wicket keeping talent of Mr. Syed Kirmani (just Kirmani or Kiri to us those days, though none of us ever met him)...I had heard of his talent in mimicry. But this is the first time I watched Mr. Kirmani miming. And it is perfect Dev Anand imitation. 👏👏
