The biggest problem is all the English teams play a very similar way. They try and copy the City model. European teams have a lot better stradety and can play more stlyes.

I don't think they've downed tools as such, I think they've been shocked by it more than anything, and they put in a hell.of a lot of effort when it was first announced that they have simply drained themselves. In hindsight Klopp could and probably should have waited until around about now to make his announcement, with the hope that would galvanise them to the finish line.

Let’s be honest (I’m a city fan), all three teams are running out of steam, the league could still go any way of three. We are out of the UCL because we just didn’t have enough in the tank to go all fine blazing. We played real off the park but not enough zip and energy to overwhelm them. Could easily happen a few times in the coming weeks. However… Arsenal and Liverpool seem to be in similar places. Who knows!

You didn't play Real off the park , yes you had lots of possession but what did you do with it KDB scored 1 and blazed another other the bar and haaland hit the top of the bar with a header but rudiger had a big chance for 2-0 , truth is angelotti oùtfoxed pep everyone thought the game was goina be like the one in the bernabeau and he set up defensively like an Italian team from the 80s , haaland got absolutely no service ,he makes runs and noone is seeing him and finding him , citehs possession based football is a borefest for most parts of most games , Liverpool and arsenal are a lot more exciting to watch , if you look at the way this citeh team plays to the centurion team then there's no comparison that team was exciting to watch this team is dull predictable and boring , not only that but elite teams have susses out how to nullify citeh

Didn’t play them off the park, we didn’t only have more possession, we had 33 shots on goal in total that game compared to their 8! The only thing missing was the elite level energy that we normally have to finish the job. Madrid were as lucky as lucky gets to get through and hung on for dear life for penalties. Elite teams have figured us out?? We won the treble last year and even after weds night, could still win the league and FA Cup double… wonderful example of figuring us out. Pull the other one! You can dislike city all you like, but trying to discredit the quality of their football just makes you look stupid.

Pens was the only way real wins that game. It took literally every bit of quality and determination they had to beat city in this tie and they crawled over the line because they are real Madrid. 9.5 times out of 10 city win that game easily. No one other than real could stop them and city go on to win the treble again otherwise.

As a City fan, the title race just got kicked up a gear. Why? All 3 teams just got booted out of Europe and the 3 are running in fumes. The title is not over by any stretch. Given how all 3 teams are running on empty, true grit and a dash of luck (injuries notwithstanding) should prove to be the determining factor for who wins it

Klopp could get his team to deliver some great performances but he’s always struggled to be consistent and as they say, form is temporary class is permanent. Klopp therefore has never been class and cannot be considered great.

Big difference with Liverpool now is when they were at their best in past seasons the front 3 of Salah, Firmino and Mane were nailed on, now it seems that Klopp is not sure who his best front 3 are and that is starting to show as they struggle to score in open play.
