Holdout sounds lame as a game mode. It's just endless, except you defend something. I like the idea of combining the endless mode with an objective, though. A full objective map ending with a holdout and not having a proper "the survivors escaped" end would be sick.

I like this IDEA, similar to halo Reach where you finish the mission and then just survive as long as possible, Doomed to eventually fall in the end, would make for a great endless -objective map, with a bittersweet ending being that not everybody survives.

Thinking about it more gave me some idea that the fire can be used for. A Vard sized map with a setup like an objective with smaller portions like the snow shoveling or lift in San Seb. The finale of the map would be to keep the fire burning, as the smoke will act as a signal for your escape. As for mixing it up with endless, uh idk? Maybe if the players can't keep the fire lit, the flame will go out entirely, turning the map into an endless match. Ofc there will be griefers who'll intentionally let the fire go out but to counter that Igniters could restart the fire. That's it I'm outta ideas lol.

A few days ago, I remember I was testing some commands in my private server. I was searching for map commands. Soon enough, I stumbled upon a map called “Holdout_Test”. As I joined in, I didn’t know what to do until I was met face to face with a horde of zombies. Slowly but surely, I killed them off and realized that they don’t spawn in anymore. After a few seconds however, another horde arose. During that moment, I believed the map was a type of endless map. (I didn’t know what the fire was used for). So maybe it could be a new game mode like you said, or it’s just another testing area, nothing special.

I thing they should add a thing in settings where you can make your teammates up to 80% invisible so that you can do first person better especially with the pike and how it one shots most zombies to the head you gotta be in first person to point it up like that and first person is hell especially on kaub

Holdout test maybes is a new objective mode where you go you to the last parts where you make the fire stronger until a ship saw it and rescue you and all player pluss maybe that Kaub part 2 bec were stuck in a Castle so yea maybe I'm right or not.

Welp the Devs going to get a kick out of this one. Last time I mention the zombie officer now I going to mention about the evil spirit. This enemy is only chaplin will see, the spirits are from the zombies or from hell. The spirit will try and posses the player and make the player harm himself or hurt other players. Their will be an animation where the player resisting the spirit for a brief period. The chaplin will be useful here he can go to his bible and read the verse to drive the spirit out and banish it where it came from. The crucifix will also work on them. I want to make chaplin more effective since not much people use it. Of course the player can comeback and play however if there no chaplin you can kill the player and the spirit will leave. What do you guys think of it? Just give your opinions and flaws in it.

Its sounds great,if that was added the chaplain will be 2 times more useful than now. The bad thing is the part of "you can kill the player and the spirit will leave" some persons (trolls) will kill the possessed person even if they had a priest in the team,you should think about that part,the rest of the idea is good personaly.

@@gabededog Ok how about this. After the possessed player assaults or harm him/her self, 2 players can pin down the possessed and hold there and if the player want to kill the possessed both players that pinned the possessed down have to accept the offer or sacrifice per say.
