A350 has dimmable windows too, just had the flight😜 But, on the plus side of B787 you didn't even mentioned the great pressurisation inside. Feels like on 1000m , the others (older models) do not have that comodity , but feels like 3000m . Long flights are so much afected with this issue. Higher hull preassure reduces fatigue and most important the jetlag. After a 10h flight in the Dreamliner is almost no jetlag , the fatigue is much less than on other planes . Just my own experience as a frequent flyer. Shortly = The Dremaliner 🙂

Fixes/enhancements, doesn't matter. It's not like any car manufacturer that puts out a completely new model doesn't have issues either. Some car manufacturers even have issues long into production *cough*VW*cough* And Airbus' A350s have issues as well. It's just generally less talked about, because it's the almighty Airbus.

one of the reasons why I avoid dreamliners if possible. The 9 across arrangement feels a bit tight as well, but not as bad as the 10 across 777
@MarceloTrindade1

The reason for that is the behaviour of some passengers that think they own the windows and have the right to keep them open during the sleep time or keep them closed during takeoffs and landings.

Why would an airline pick a 787 over 777x having seen what Boeing offers on the latest 777's
@normanmcleod7169
@normanmcleod7169 9 ай бұрын
It would appear to be a "love it or loathe it" aeroplane. The loathe it factors seem to be 1) most of the operators making the economy class layouts as uncomfortable as possible 2) poor quality control. I have flown on both the 787 and the 350 and would take the 350 every time if there was a choice, but always remember that they are not direct competitors.

The 787 needs a new modern cockpit with side sticks like all other manufacturers like Airbus, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault and even Embraer offer in their lastest planes. Boeing has to accept, that yokes are gone and 20 century technology. Even modern fighters like the F22 and F35 use side sticks to control the plane.
