I think Paxton truly cares for her. She has helped him grow so much and figure out how much more he can be. He protects her and challenges her. But I never got the feeling that Devi felt the same way about him. She always liked him because he was hot and popular, but I never see her feelings go passed that. It doesn't feel like Devi actually has any real connection to him, unlike Paxton. Their love story just feels very one-sided to me but idk. I do think they make really good friends though but I can't see them as much more.

She is a complex character who has been through a lot, so we can not expect her to act rationally and make “right” decisions, but she mature a lot this season compared to the second one. Paxton did nothing wrong on their relationship but you have to admit as well that he wasn’t perfect too. He made mistakes with Haley and the other girls and was ashamed of Devi on season 2. What I’m trying to say is that there’s no perfect character on this show, also I believe that Ben -despite his flaws- is more compatible with Devi, and they could push each other to become better

Omg you literally wrote my exact thoughts and feelings about this season! In the beginning I was team Paxton cause Darren us hot. But as his character developed I fell for him as a character and the chemistry between then as characters is just a 10/10. If only Devi was more confident and secure, Paxton is perfect for her. He pushes her to be better and so does she. And he supports her. Whereas Ben always attacks her first especially when she’s down. People say Ben helped her but he literally helped ONCE when she stayed at his house. But Paxton helped her every single time even if he was mad at her. He clearly still liked her whether he actually knows it or not. He even cared about how she feels about him having a new gf. I want them to be endgame but if we even get them as best friends next season that would also be good. I’d be mad but its better than absolutely nothing.

Don't worry. It's still possible that in the first ep of season 4, something/someone will interrupt Ben and Devi from doing it.

Ngl after watching season 3 I was like Ben just makes more sense I guess. But after rewatching and seeing these comments, bias aside Daxton just makes so much sense. I’m not impressed with Ben’s character development and I think the art girl is truly what he needs. He needs someone to be better than him at something to humble him which is what she did. It’s so annoying when people attack Paxton for his previous actions but never mention the things Ben had done like cheating on shira and mistreating the crap out of annesa. When he was with the other girl he was more concerned for Devi. He wasn’t excited with that girl. He said he needed a girl that challenged him. Something that Devi did all the time. He desired that feeling Devi gave him. Giving away that the other girl couldn’t compete to Devi. He also always found an excuse to talk about her with her friends. Oh and the way he constantly looked at her too. There was so much tenderness in his eyes when he looked at her. And then when she was with Des he was jealous of him. And not to mention his speech it was for her and also how she changed him. The whole year his mind was on Devi for the most part. He never stopped caring about her. He carried her in his heart the whole time. If that’s not love I don’t know what is. There was so many things about Paxton that showed he loved her.

Yeah same! I might not be popular but I can see that pretty much a lot of people think I'm cool at school and I'm not even trying for this to happen Im just being myself. Especially how Devi es in the first episodes of season 1 who kind of gave me pick me vibes ,but it was only because of her traumatic last school year and her dads death and even though I didn't really had this kind of experience I was litterally acting like her 😂
