If they ever did a DMC 2 remake, how awesome would it be if Lucia was voiced by Sally Saffioti, the VA of Mistral from Metal Gear Rising Revengence? I would love it. Btw DMC 2 is my favorite game and no one can take that from me!

I don't think you ever heard any of the negatives of DMC2. The fact Dante gets only one melee weapon is really dumb. Not only that but you can't get more moves for Dante. You pretty much have all your abilities right away so it get boring very very fast. There is a "Lock-Off" button if you hold L2/R2. Guns are best options because of how often Bosses are completely out of reach from your Sword and the juggle normal mobs which means you stunlock everything with them. The 3 different swords don't matter at all. To even get all the Amulet upgrades requires some of the hardest shit I have still never been able to do. If you can break all 4 sarcophagus you have my respect. Overall lack of combo and attack variety, bad boss design (besides the final boss funny enough), and horrible character progression. Dante feels exactly the same at the end of the game. Huge L Once you find out about Maijin DT then you'll never play the game the same. It's completely broken

Hmm, okay. I just left a comment on the previous video saying I was confused about what you disliked so much about DMC1's bosses. After seeing this, nevermind, I get it. DMC2's bosses are truly some of the worst ever put in an action game. They just sit at the other end of gigantic rooms and stay still while you shoot them until they die. If you get bored (which you will) and try to hit them up close, you get the shit kicked out of you because they don't stagger from melee combat and you can't cancel out of any of your attack animations to stay safe. At their worst, like the helicopter or the floating faces, you don't even have the option to try. If you like 2's bosses more than 1 then you might actually just view difficulty as an inherently negative quality.

I think it's bad. I think the reason it gets more hate than normal, is you have really horrible sections likes the infested chopper or tank, and then everything else is completely forgettable, so all you really have to reference it is those bad areas.

Deff should have played it in Lore order dmc3-1-2-4-5 actually get the story like that

It’s better than dmc peak of combat that is the worst game by far
