What I’ve always loved is the normal background to your reviews. Whilst I love your use of green screen in your reviews- you do some seriously creative stuff with it sometimes- I don’t think it’s needed for a standard background. The background just being your room has always been pretty nice.

I’m going to miss your couch background, but progress is good. Personally, I like how Angry Joe uses part of his background to accent what he’s talking about with his text box and videos. However, I don’t think that style fits you very well and we don’t want people thinking you’re trying to copy someone else... Just make sure you’re new background is you and you alone, make it something uniquely you and memorable for other people to mention in future videos. Always a pleasure seeing new uploads!

I’d recommend putting Griffon and Nero’s gun to one of the shoulder buttons like R2. That way you can charge ranged attacks while using melee. Also, you can unlock higher difficulties quicker by beating the prologue boss, which will be easier after getting certain upgrades.

The only time i think the facial animations slip up, would be when Dante says "guess i get to see it with my own eyes". The lip movement just looks off to me in that moment.

For the background, maybe go with something ambient, that fits whatever you're reviewing. For instance, if you reviewed RDR2, you could have some western landscape. If you did PS4 Spider-Man, maybe NYC. For Star Wars, maybe some Hellogreedo esque Star Destroyer cockpit

The HD collection, Devil May Cry 4, the DmC Devil May Cry game, and this gem eventually. Hopefully, the price drops soon enough, or I can get it on sale. Prefer no greenscreen, TBH. Your After Effects work is top notch, and greenscreen is so difficult to light in a small room that it doesn't reflect the quality of work that you always aim for. (I wish I could have taken my eyes off the keying around your thumb...I couldn't. Sorry!)

You know, I always feel like videos on modern things are worse when they’re behind, but you’ve kinda proven it’s just as much about the quality as it always is

I like the idea you are doing something new, but I have some criticism to give. The wall sort of takes the ability to do skits in an open area like older reviews and you are forced to be in that one space the whole video. Not to mention green screening everything in will just make it harder from your already hard job. The gun in the opening looked hard to put in if you ask me. This is all my opinion and I hold nothing against you. I am a huge fan and look forward to your reviews and your amazing editing skills. In the end it is your choice and I will support whatever you do.

Just Remap V moveset put Griffon on R2 and Shadow on Square/X now you can do the combos with the 2 at the same time and it's super Easy to Get SSS this way And to avoid losing to much health from the familiars i suggest to stay close to the figth (because your presense "recharges" they health) and use dodges as cancels for any move, it's Very strategic and not a all complicated ... Never use auto mode

A DMC movie could be a good idea, but it shouldn't be action heavy. I know this sounds weird but the games already have great action and you won't top that with a scripted scene. They should use the movie to build up the world and fill in some missing spots in the lore. Like what happened to Sparda, how did Dante start his business, what Trish and Lady are up to, things like that.

Nice review! Very insightful and thought out regarding your stances on the gameplay between the different characters as well as the story analysis segments. You're certainly better than a LARGE plethora of video game reviewers on this site. I do have to disagree about the microtransactions. They're not "intrusive" but their inclusion breaks the economic system in place designed for the game. Not to mention, these aren't "additional" elements like new costumes or levels. These are things in the game. Why can't these extra orbs be cheats and then they disable the achievements and leaderboard options?

Why is putting in so much effort to avoid spoilers? The game's been out for over a month!

honestly the ex provications are not that hard to get with red orbs it only took me a few weeks of focused play to get all 3

While I haven't beaten the game yet, especially since I only played Devil may Cry 5 when a friend of mine came over, I do have one major complaint; The playable characters. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy playing as Nero, Dante and V, however I do wish that they had their own campaign, as oppose to them sharing the same story mode, and you needing to play as the specific character in the specific level. Because of this, two of the three characters are rather underutilized. Nero gets the most gameplay, with V and Dante having less gameplay. Now, if I was in charge of Devil may Cry 5's development, I would've split them into having three campaigns in a similar fashion to how Devil may Cry 2 played. One campaign you play as Nero, one campaign as Dante, and one as V. This would allow you to further get use to how each character plays, and even allow you to explore more of the story. Like, have a level where you play as V, who, in the story mode, learns how to control his familiars, and explore why the Griffon is the only Familiar who's capable of speaking. Have another part in V's campaign where he attempts to battle Urizen, but fails, and decides that he needs to recruit Dante and the others to help him stop Urizen. Have a couple of levels of Dante recruiting Lady and Trish, as how he got that new weapon of his. And a few other campaigns that could explore a little bit more to the overall story. Speaking of which, this also leads to another problem that relates to the playable characters; this game is a complete sausage feast. And by that, I mean that you can only play as Nero, V and Dante. Now, I wouldn't have that much of a problem if characters like Trish, Lady, and (spoilers,) Vergil were in the game. But since they aren't, I'm gonna bitch. Why aren't these characters, along with Lucia from Devil may Cry 2, playable? Thanks to the likes of Devil may Cry 2, 3 and 4, where we saw the likes of Trish, Lady and Vergil actually being playable, and even having their own playstyle and campaign, I can't think of a reason as to why they aren't playable. Unless it's gonna be revealed that these three, along with Lucia are gonna be playable via DLC, I feel that should've been playable, or at the very least unlockable so that you can use them in main story. Same thing goes from Devil may Cry 4's Nero with the Devil Bringer. I'd like to see that as a playable mode in Devil may Cry 5.
