@@Konkonnie Yep, all I'm trying do do is figure out how you do that cheese move. It all comes back to these jump canceling moves. I used to think it was impossible and a pro move only back then in dmc3. They are easy as shit when i found out what eas the trick to it so this royal spam also has to have some trick to it.

@@Konkonnie It's not a bug. With enough practice you can pull this off. Royal Guard can block literally ANY source of damage in the game, and it has worked like that since DMC3. The thing with the tornado attack is that you have to block the move frame by frame

Yea so i just found out today it requires just a little bit of skill to pull it off. If you time it perfectly whwn he does that vortex pull, dante for some reason just automatically perfect blocks every frame so yea, he was not actually blocking all those frames himself. The fact that he thinks he did is funny.

An average player who just uses DSD randomly would probably be better off spamming Balrog or KC, but if you put it in the hands of highly skilled players (see SmvR and sakaki), you have the most versatile combo-making tool ever. It has the potential to outdamage every other weapon if used properly. Another thing is that DSD buffs all your melee weapons, but no other melee weapon buffs DSD. It's a unique addition to Dante's arsenal that's both fun and easy to use, but can also provide a high skill ceiling if the player calls for it.

Cavelierr damage outup is stupid and has armor, I'd say that even if not better at styling it is still is the easiest way to kill anything in the game when used properly

The Vergil finish is quite poetic though. The summoned swords were always his thing.

@@tudorinbogdan240 I always wondered why Vergil can summon these swords while Dante couldn't. Even when Dante was able to beat him. Now that Dante is able to use Summoned swords after attaining Majin form, my confusion just grew bigger.

@@WhiteRescuer must be heritage thing. Dante only gained it after he absorb sparda and rebellion. Vergil must be the natural inheritor of this ability. Sparda's name is latin corruption of sword so it might be his initial power before he went full OP.

So Sparda can create astral swords, and material swords with great powers by using his own powers to make the sword? If so he might originally have Yamato's cutting power and Rebellion's combining power. It's not that far fetched, since even that bird lady tumor demon have similar portal power as Vergil in Urizen's form, it's just far more inferior to Sparda's, and he might be able to combine or absorb other demons' powers into his own, just like what Dante did with Quicksilver. It sounds a bit floaty, but I'd like to think this is not too far off.

@@WhiteRescuer old comment but i like this topic i've always felt that physical manifestion and condensation of demonic energy is a Sparda hereditary ability, while other demons were more "EXPLOSIONS" Sparda was more precise. in DMC1 the Sparda form's ultimate power is that of focusing his demonic power into a dragon with insane piercing power able to literally tear through Mundus's barrier. and as the sword was swung large energy waves are released from the sword. Vergil and Dante have summoned swords capable of all manners of shit. and now Nero has what are essentially summoned shuriken's, spectal wings and an arm. and on the topic of sword creation, Vergil has shown (granted via gameplay only) that his summoned swords can have varied durability and strength. his typical "shoot them and it hurts" does rather low damage individually and shatter quickly, but his spiral swords (the ones he puts around him) deal far more damage and last a lot longer. so it's possible that if he put enough energy into a single summoned sword, he could create a viable secondary weapon (like he could recreate a spectral force edge to use like he could in 3 and 4) as for the rebellion and Yamato, i dont think Sparda himself ever had those particular abilities, but either found a power in the demon or human realm with those abilities which he then had forged into swords, or there were beings with those powers which he then killed and they turned into the devil arms. there are actual demon blacksmiths who's sole purpose is to forge weapons for demons after all (though usually the higher a demons power, the less likely they need the weapons or they assimilate the weapons into their own bodies and create devil arms) it's quite possible the sparda itself was originally the force edge, and after pouring his demonic power into it either immediately or over the years of use, it became the Sparda. and it could be similar for the Rebellion and Yamato. Sparda had the swords created to then take and hold the powers of combining and seperating he found who knows where. hell maybe he created those powers himself via rituals similar to the temin-guru and hell gates for one reason or another.
