I know I'm super late, but bought DMC 5 few days ago, and this is my favourite song. After ball busting difficulty fight, one broken controllers and dead anger managment therapist, it's like you have reached nirvana by listening this and reading all that little info about new weapons, guns, enemies etc. Truly a wonderful experience

Purple is Sparda's color, the synthesis of his twin sons' color (I noticed that Arkham gets this color in 3 when he attains the power of Sparda). Dante in purple is reaching his character arc's logical conclusion and fully becoming the dad. Or rather, the uncle since he's more of a family man than actual dad Vergil.
