Just cause you dont have the ambition or creativity doesn't mean a character isint fun. Most people play swordmaster Dante with little of the flair you see here and do fine. Its about efficiency vs flair. V is just harder on flair. But it sure aint impossible

V is a fun challenge to play once you get more used to him and get to the harder levels. I've platinum'd 4 and 5 (and just about done so with 3) and I can honestly say V grows on you

@@NSLM Doing BP with him was really fun, but having to go through his missions on Devil Hunter completely turned me off from him at first. When you play Nero and especially Dante for the first time, there's this almost instant realisation that you could be doing so much more, and the game pushes you to experiment with them and constantly buy new toys to play with. It might not be as high as Donguri's level, but the games since DMC3 make it clear that there is a higher level of mastery to achieve. V doesn't really have that though. Most players will just go through their first playthrough with SSS being constantly thrown right at them, with the game incentivising ignoring his upgrades to save for Nero and Dante.

@@ViperDivinity I have not yet to play DMC 5 myself sadly, but I can already see that DMC 5 Nero is more fun in comparison to his 4 counterpart. Nero in 4 is fun, but when you get to Dante, he became boring in comparison.

Because dmc5 nero is just upgraded dmc4 nero, with more weapons, quicksilver, double devil bringer hands and a devil trigger. Plus he can fight Vergil

@@chicoscience502 If I remembered you need to use gunslinger style and then mashed the gun fire button near on the downed scythe guys. Only worked with Ebony and Ivory I believe and those scythe dudes.

Friend of mine said that style switch will break the game so they might need to rebalance couple of things

@@thebigzan DMC is busted no matter what, a limitation to a single style outside statues and starting missions only makes DT Distortion, RG Cancelling and Weapon Switching the core of abuse.

He's the best Dante player. Sakaki is absolutely terrifying as Vergil, and Koudai T is definitely pulling the Devil Trigger with Nero.

I think he's definitely a top tier, but idk if we can really qualify who's "the best" in this case without an actual styling tournament. In a series all about figuring out how to make your own style and combos into massive attacks, it all comes down to the individual

Another fun fact is that the same happened with the Arkham fight near the end. Second player could control Vergil.

And now it's even better with access to all styles weapons whenever you want
