I love how open-minded, honest, and respectful Jen and Kristen were. They pushed themselves the whole way through, even though they didn't seem the most comfortable out of the group, and were careful to reserve their opinions until the end.

Devin is such a beautiful woman. She has such a beautiful energy around her, and to talk about what her boss did to her is so powerful. I was sexually abused by my ex boyfriend when we were ating, and after we broke up he sexually assaulted me. Ever since that day, I have felt very insecure and still struggle with anxiety and depression. So for her to share her story is beautiful and empowering

When Devon tells her story, it tears out my heart, but it also makes me feel better. I never talk about what happened to me because I blame myself. I feel like no one can relate to what happened to me, like I'm alone in the world. And when Devon; this huge influence in my life and this girl that I see all the time, told her story, it made me finally open up and talk to my therapist about what happened. Devon saved my life and I couldn't tell her that on the video she made about her story so I'm telling her here. Though you may never see this, thank you Devon. You're my hero.

I really love that the studio has no mirrors and has warm low lighting, whenever i see typical dance studios they're super bright and full of reflections of myself and feel almost clinical, which makes it hard for people who might be self-conscious or not know how to FEEL sexy without judging yourself. The warm lighting here is sensual and comfortable and you can have fun on the pole without seeing a glimpse of yourself in the mirror looking like a fool, haha.

But the mirrors come in handy, when you're doing harder tricks and have to align your body in a specific way (like going from straddle to starfish spin, for me it was impossible without a mirror). I love how my dance studio has both bright lights for learning and low lighting for freestyling ;)

I've tried pole dancing as well and honestly, ,it's a good experience, even after i stopped going to classes, i still purchased a pole at home: which i never regretted buying: and practiced and got better each time whilst most people think that it's linked to stripping and it's degraded to women, which i disagree with...pole dancing can be anything you want it to be: it can be stripping, it can be excerise, it can be burlseque, it can be competition based..it could be anything you want it to be. whilst people are entitled to thier opnion, i understand that some people are uncomfortable and i understand.

When Devin and her friends started dancing, I started crying because it made me realize how freaking beautiful we are as women. We're freaking powerful and beautiful and we are in control of our bodies and minds and this is just so beautiful, gosh. We are all beautiful!!!!

I remember watching this wishing I could do pole dancing and now many years later I'm finally pole dancing and having such an amazing time and I wouldn't give it up for anyone this has made me so happy it's made my health better I've made so many new friends and met so many beautiful people I encourage everyone not matter age, race, size, gender give it a go and if it's not for you that's totally fine but you'll be surprised how much fun and how inspiring it really is

Learning pole dance was one of the best things I went for; everything they say is true. It does make you like %75 more confident once you learn and while you’re learning; and it’s perfectly fun exercise

@@ylsflv there are pole classes neat me in the uk that accept over 16’s (if you are under 18 you do need parent permission though) I’m looking into booking a taster class there, not sure about other countries but look up what ages your local classes accept and if they do allow under 18’s

I really like that they showed the differing opinions about this. Like, it's always amazing and inspiring to see women get in touch with themselves and their bodies like this, but I appreciated that they also showed Jen's opinions. It shows that sexuality doesn't have to be expressed just through 'being sexy' but that a woman's sexuality can be expressed however she wants.

Yes! Real empowerment is allowing people to live their lives the way they need or want to in order to be happy and being supportive of whatever that is, rather than shaming or judging. The fact that pole dancing helped some of the girls get in touch with their sexuality and the fact that Jen learned it wasn't for her are both equally valid and should both be celebrated.

I do think Jen would have enjoy herself more at a standard pole fit studio, instead of S factor and it emphasis on sensuality. I have been doing pole for 2 years now and I still don't enjoy the dancing aspect, but there is a lot to gain from pole than feeling more sexy.

i cried after devin said she was raped. i know that feeling. seeing someone who'd been through the same thing, or something similar at the very least, and how they've come to love themselves despite what happened gave me so much hope. thank you. edit: wow this got a lot of attention, i just want to say to everyone who knows this feeling, i'm so so sorry. you never deserved it, don't beat yourself over it, don't blame yourself, you're allowed to find happiness, and you're not alone. you guys are amazing and so very strong, thank you for sharing your stories... you deserve the world, no matter who you are.

You know what? I know that Kristin's weight and figure is due to a condition, and you should always feel good in and love your body. But let's not forget that being overweight and not working out is actually a health risk (so is being too skinny or being "just right" but eating only junk food). Whether Jazzmyne or Kristin do or don't have a condition, they also don't look after their body very well (that's obvious from many videos). They are incredibly talented ladies and it's so inspiring how confident they are and don't hide their bodies. But saying that they don't have to change as long as they feel good, could be just as harmful to young people as the size-0-talk, in my opinion.

Morgan Johnson actually, no that's not how it works. You only put an apostrophe after an s if there is a plural possetion. Such as "the boys' dogs." While if a word or name ends in s you still put an apostrophe s, I see this mistake everywhere. Example "They couldn't deny the Kiss's power
