I got my Glidecam HD2000 in 2012 after high school because I discovered your channel. Since then, it took me on my journey through many of my channels, film school, to my short films, and now it is endless to what else I would do with it. Glad they gave you an opportunity to work them. It is more flexible to work with than a motor gimbal.

Thanks for another great video! And one on the Glidecam too, even more awesome! Something I found helped alot. I didn't have the money for a Glidecam at first and so got a nock off stabilizer that was decent quality while I was in Thailand and got some pretty nice shots with it, and now that I have the Devin Graham Glidecam, it makes it so much easier! One question I've had is, how do you get the good pan up and pan down shots?

Amazing video! thank you so much for putting stuff like this together. Any tips on using smaller cameras on the devin graham signature? I have a Sony a6300 and with one weight it isn't very smooth but additional weights force me to move the gimbal very far down the shaft. Anyways, thanks again for these sweet videos!

I own a Devin Graham signature series glidecam and it is game changing. Had it since the day it launched and after I met Devin at NAB in 2016. My favorite part is I can balance a 200mm lens on my a7s for the most epic shots ever!

Jesse Ison He does not interact with his subscriber base enough. If we were looking for an equation for subscribers it would include epic content times subscriber interaction times frequency of updates. Heavily weighted towards the subscriber interaction and frequency of updates.

glidecam is amazing, but for those on a budget I would recommend the, yelangu s60t (it's less than a $100 and great for learning on)

Loving the smooth footage and very informative video. Looked up your signature series, but unfortunately, it's 1007 USD here in Sweden. Cheaper to order from overseas, as with all photo/video gear.

Dang! I had no idea you were bookin it like that running after bikes, boards, parkour'ers, scooters, and the like. We always knew you were king of the glidecam but seeing how fast and physical that is... Long live the king! On a side note have you ever biffed it running after shots like those?

My favorite style of filmmaking and storytelling is that of Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s long takes in Birdman and the Revenant. What glidecam rig/setup would give me the best results and easiest workflow for this style.

The glidecam doesnt care what camera is on top of it. So you dont have to worry as long as its within the weight capacity :)

Do you have a go-to lens for your Glidecam on your 5D? I have a 5D Mk4 with a Glidecam 4000, and just about any good L glass Canon lens at my disposal for work, but I can’t figure out which lens and focal length I like best for these shots as well as for balancing. I’ve been using the 24-105 f4, 16-35 f2.8, and 24-70 f2.8 so far.

What's the balancing situation like with the RED digital camera screen? I've seen many times in BTS videos that you're always adjusting the screen, so do you have to tweek the glidecam after previewing a clip?

I have a problem with my stabilizer, the camera I use is a dslr but it seems to be to light, my setup is stable but when I walk or run its just too light and shakes. its still smoother than without it though... Nice Vid...
