When you listened to Tragedy the explosion sound Barry made by cupping the microphone. Check out the video of the making of Tragedy. It's got some great information about how they write songs. Also fun fact: none of them ever learned how to read music. In which makes what they did even more amazing.

John Travolta visited lots of Discos and did lots of prep work with Deny Terrio getting ready to dance like that for the movie!! This song was usually always the way the Bee Gee's ended all their concerts (other than encores, of course).

The official Bee Gees You Should Be Dancing video is live ( Spirits Tour ) 1979 . It is amazing , Andy also joined them on stage. Someone took parts of the concert and movie to make this video.

This is the album cut of You Should Be Dancing. On the Spirits Tour version you can hear Andy very clearly adding ad-libs. So we have a mash up of movie footage, tour footage, and album audio!

I have been browsing your channel and when I saw The Bee Gees playlist-along with your positive vibes (I’m a Christian too)…I had to Subscribe! Growing up, The Bee Gees were my favorite group, and you’re bringing back memories for me. I loved them then and still today! They wrote all their songs and played instruments too, all without being able to read music! It was a God-given talent they had. I believe they only did 1 cover song in their career. They took a Carol King song “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow “, and in typical fashion, did it “Bee-Gee” style. It’s beautiful. Anyway, just wanted to let you know I have been really enjoying your Bee Gee playlist. Keep up the good work.❤

I love this! My favorite Bee Gees song. Like you said, can't go wrong with anything by the Bee Gees. I would definitely encourage you to listen to Barry Gibb and Barbara Streisand in "A Woman in Love." So good. Also -- PLEASE react to Heart's "Alone." Ann and Nancy Wilson can both sing like nobody's business and Nancy tears it up on guitar as well.

The concert clips are from the 1979 "Spirits" tour. Andy joined them on stage for this song. He is on Mo's mic. This song is from 1976's "Children of the World" album, but was featured in the movie "Saturday Night Fever." This is a defining cut for dance music, and you can't help but move. Very nice Devin.

This was Andy, it was the 1979 Spirits Having Flown tour at the Stadium in Oakland, CA. ( the dance clips are from the movie Saturday night fever, John Travolta is dancing)

Devin, I watched a video clip of an interview with Maurice and he described Andy in awe of the crowd on that night. He looked at Maurice and said “ can you believe it “ Maurice said it was the best night that they will remember forever ❤️❤️❤️ they are the best around so sad they are mostly gone 😔

Dude! I was 21 when disco came out. We worked hard at our jobs all week, feeling weighted down by life. Then dressed to the 9’s , headed to the disco. The second we walked in, the music brought us alive like nothing you young folks have today. How I wish you could experience the intoxicating energy this group created as we danced. You would have fit right in with us. Thank you for the walk down memory lane. It was fun watching you enjoy the music I danced the night away to. Peace ☮️

I was lucky to attend one of these Bee Gee concerts from the 1979 Spirits Tour in Ohio in September 1979. Took my younger sister and her friend for their high school graduation gift. Tickets were only $10, $12.50, or $15 dollars for this fantastic concert! Tickets now days to top level shows like this are now untouchable for the average person. Andy wasn't on stage with his brothers for this show, but it was so freaking AMAZING!!!

Yes Andy was 4th person on stage. He didn’t sing on the song but made appearance. Was wonderful for all 4 brothers performing together. Hope everything is ok with you and your family. Haven’t seen new Bee Gees. Thought maybe in honor of Barry Gibb’s 77th birthday and 53rd Wedding anniversary with wife Linda you could do Words (live Spirits tour is my favorite or Barry’s tour in 2013/2014). So exciting to see Andy join his brothers on stage! Love me some Bee Gees and in my opinion Andy was a Bee Gee too! In fact, he was supposed to join the group officially but tragically died too soon. When I hear there music, I swear it’s God inspired. Their lyrics were clean! Nothing like the abhorrent lyrics we hear today. May the 3 brothers rest peacefully and may Barry find reconciliation & peace with the King of Kings!

The Bee Gees and Andy Gibb were ALL brothers and of the few, if only, who embraced funk, soul and R&B and we're successful for it. So, they prove no matter a person's skin color, it comes from within one's soul. You've got to appreciate their mark on the World their music left. No matter the skin color of listeners of their music, their music goes past color. Exhibit A.B.C. & D.

When disco started, I was out every weekend! There were versions of Studio54 in and around Philly. If you didn't feel the music, you were either in a coma or dead. And Devin, you are such a joy to watch and listen to. Bless you and keep up the good work (Jennifer)..

Most of these clips are from a live concert during the Spirits Tour where baby brother Andy joined them on stage. For a real treat, what that entire song from the live concert. They really get down at the end of it. That is cut off of this video. Even Andy sings on his own a bit.

Andy joined them on stage for a concert in Texas (Houston i think if i remember right) so they all sang it together that night. Andy was not on the recording for the album that i am aware of. But they sure looked to be having fun performing together.

Devin, I have been listening to High Civilization tonight, and I wanted to give you an example of another beautiful sound by the brothers. The song is "The Only Love." It seems like it's probably a VHS recording, but well worth a listen, quite a different side to their talents for you to react to.

You MUST, PLEASE check out This is Where I Came In (a must song for your BeeGees Playlist, with a documentary of the same name, from around 2004, right before loosing Mo😔). The video is their nod to the very early days, and one of the absolute coolest, funniest & most entertaining videos you'll ever see. Spoiler: they were total juvenile delinquents as youngsters, ultimately getting the family essentially kick out of England, sent to Australia.
