Devon vs jerry is my first professional Arm Wrestling Match that I ever watched from beginning to end. I freaking Loved every minute of it!! It is still my favorite match! I can't wait to see the rematch!!

One of the most legit if not the most impressive catch in armwrestling history for this reason. The large portion of Jerry's power is in that press and Jerry's press is definitely a 10!!! When Jerry sinks it in well that's crazy amounts of weight, power multiplied by speed coming down on your arm like a truck falling on it. I honestly can't think of one armwrestler throughout Jerry's career in arm sports to ever catch that press when he's in that dominant of a position. People talk about Devon is all endurance well they're so very wrong. Devon miss-timed go and it should've been a flash by Jerry that one rd but somehow Devon summoned some god like power, the fact the catch was so low I still don't know how Devon stopped him 😳 Only explanation is Devon talks and claims weaker but that's not true😉 I just think Devons super smart and efficient. I believe Devon only uses enough power that's required to win rd's as a strategy to conserve power. That way when it's truly needed to get out of a bind or too finish off an opponent plenty of power is still in the tank! Plus endurance is extended by using this strategy💪✌

Jerry is claiming in his recent video that nobody called him out when he proposed his 2:1 odds match, but he conveniently forgets that Devon has a video (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r7WKdqdiv9zSYGQ.html ) where he basically accepts it, even though he had his upcoming match with Levan at the time. It's laughable watching the mental gymnastics at play here.

Would be interested to see it, but honestly I do feel that Jerry has a point. He's on a certain trajectory right now, and a fight Devon would kind of take him off of that trajectory, and I'm more interested in seeing what Jerry can do with the other top guys than I am in seeing him rematch Devon. Would be much more interested to see Devon vs Genadi, and Jerry vs Ermes and I would be in seeing Devon vs Jerry

Yes exactly! It'll always be a close match because of Jerry's style. Ofc Devon is stronger now, but Jerry beating Genadi and Georgi is no joke. And also one more thing, Devon didn't reply whether he could smoke Genadi and Georgi or not, he was just talking about Jerry because I think he has faced him already, and knows how to beat him. In reality I think Genadi or Georgi, both will be a good match for Devon.

I don't know, but sometimes I think all this trash talk is really not needed to spice up the rivalry between these arm wrestlers, under the pretext of making this game more popular than before. It's ok, if these kinds of trash talks between these athletes happen upto a certain extent, but devon takes things sometimes to the next level. I am not fond of it really. I myself am a great admirer of devon and he's a great athlete, but I really believe these things are not required to popularise the sport. See john for example, or the legendary ron bath, or denis, or alexey voevoda, all these people didn't need to trash talk to prove themselves..... Of course, there may be people out there who like this kind of excessive drama, but I am not certainly one of them.

I'm sort of on Jerry's side this time. Devon knows he has a style that can trouble Jerry and history backs that up; so he is calling out what he would see as a 'safe' match - if that makes sense. Personally I'd rather see how Levan and/or Ermes deals with Jerry's unorthodox style. I'd also rather see Devon against Genadi and/or Georgi as these will be more interesting tests for him than say Prudnik or Sandris (potentially).

I am never going to understand why people think Devon is actually strong. He is one of, if not THE weakest (strength wise) in the Open class heavyweight division (excluding M Todd if he can't recover fully). Devon wouldn't even exist right now at the top level without his Queen's Move, PERIOD. Even against a smaller guy (Prudnik) he had to open with the Queen's Move and admitted that it was the only way to weaken him down to his strength level. In ANY straight up match against an Open Class heavyweight Devon WOULD LOSE without his Queen's Move.
