How to use Auto Lip Sync - Adobe Animate CC Tutorial

This video explains how to set up and use Adobe Animate's Auto Lip Sync feature for automatic lip sync animation. We prepare the audio file, draw the mouth shapes inside a graphic symbol, then set up Auto Lip Sync. I also talk about best practices and why I don't like using Auto Lip Sync.

Hi Devon,..your videos are among the best of seen of any Adobe product. Thank you! I have a question..I got the auto lip sync to work correctly first time. When I expanded the video and frames in all of the layers, the lip sync didn't observe and enter keyframe values in the expanded frames of the mouth symbol layer. Do you know if I have to start over if the audio is expanded or do something else? thanks much!

Trying to just follow the tutorial, and yet your base jpg has the mouth on the character. How am I supposed to do 1:14 if the mouth is already there? I had to go into Photoshop and remove it? Why?

When I have to set up visemes, when I click to pick a different one, I can only pick the one I'm currently on, if that makes sense. Like my different mouths aren't showing up in the "set up visemes" part

You can copy and paste Symbols between different projects!

Good question! I think it works based on the sound (not language), so it should work to a certain degree

Omfg I have everything set up exactly like on the video and my mouths still aren't changing after the first key frames that have the different mouth types Does anyone else have this fkn issue? Gddmnt
