This is a nice little right angle impact driver adapter, ther big issues with these type of angle adapters and they are hard to control if you have a difficult fastener to drive but they can be a lifesaver in many situations and I like he way this unit can take 1" bit and has a ejection port to remove the short bits easily and the fact it has a ring magnet to help hold mfasteners.

I have been in the HVAC trade for 27 years and this little DeWalt has been the best. I drive mine with a 18v Makati impact driver. Well worth the money

This is a Gem I use it when I do maintenance on medical equipment. It’s hard for high torque operations but doesn’t devalues the benefits of it. Makes my work so much easier in tight places. Bravo dewalt 👍

I strapped a few hose clamps & a piece of EMT conduit to mine to help keep a grip on the thing to prevent it from spinning around.

I have one of the newer Milwaukee ones, and it's metal where it counts, so I think it's fine. And it has a slightly lower profile. I also have one of these Dewalt ones, except the plastic on the handle is black. From my inspection when I bought them both, the Milwaukee gears seem a little beefier, but I reach for the Dewalt first, since I find it easier to use.

That thing is moving around so much and coming off the screw because that extension you have on there are notoriously un- straight... these things are great with an impact Big Cat... put the impact directly on that quarter inch drive and giv-er... it can take it... I've had mine for years these things are exceptionally well built...they have another style that's even better....🤙

I was thinking along those lines while watching. I'm mainly interested for use with sockets for DIY automotive. I expect it would stay in place just fine for that.

These are great for making router table lifts. Router table lifts that have their mechanism on the plate of table make be go crazy! I tried to build a pinion gear, but that was a huge fail, and I lost 90% of my body hair from getting it perfect

I have the Dewalt and use it all the time with the impact driver. Impact driver Works much better than with the drill. Used in the drill allows the bit to “cam out”. With the impact driver the bit is able to reset itself in the screw between impulses.

Was just about to make this comment. I agree with you completely that the 90° attachment works better with an impact then a drill as I've used it with both and prefer using it with my impact. I use my Dewalt 90° about everyday with my 885 impact on gazebo builds when installing cross bolts at the roof peak with a T40 torx bit and I hammer on it pretty good and it's gotten the job done for years and saves me so much time. Also use it often to drive pre drilled 5/16" X 2" lag bolts in tight spots and it works well.

Looks like a good tool for the price, but having a little handle or tab on the side would be helpful to manage the torque reaction when drilling.

Nice review! You might try wrapping the handle with rubber bands to give you something more to hold onto. It might prevent some of the slippage.

I bought the Black & Decker product that closely resembles this. It's model BDARAM and Menards sells them. I would love to see a teardown/comparison between the currently made Milwaukee version, this DeWalt version, and the B&D version. After cursory examination (still in the packages), these three products look extremely similar. It appears there's not a lot of difference except cosmetics, parts of the case being plastic vs. metal, and the corresponding prices. I would not be very surprised if the internals wound up being nearly identical.

Cool! I wanted the Milwaukee but homedepot closes early and it's far from home, I ended getting the HART from Walmart, it doesn't feel smooth, I can literally feel the gears tooth's, used it to install 6x9 speakers on the rear deck of my sedan. I still want the Milwaukee tho

I rarely need tools from Wal-Mart, I prefer getting the better versions of them or at least the HF since the cost less and have the lifetime warranty until I can get the better ones, Milwaukee is made in China by the way LOL XD!!!!

@@josefelix4152 ill never understand why people always bitch about "chinese made". 70 percent of everything we use everyday is made in china lol. Plus if it works it works. Some people watch too much Wranglerstar and Ave or whatever.

@Rj SKUM I know, and obviously if you pay for a cheap tool made in China that breaks easily, it's because it was all you could afford, China sells what you want to buy, if you want good quality they'll sell you good quality but at good quality price, they gotta eat to, xD I have lots of tools from several country's and if you pay the price they are as good as the others

Not sure if the YT presenter actually tried using tis with an impact driver. The impact driver wouldn't[t twist it at all because the impact driver itself does not twist. Unlike a drill which twists the hand when the torque is raised too high.
