Just bought it couple days ago for an exterior door refinishing project Ill be doing in a month. Lots of small areas that I dont want to hand sand. I got it for really cheap on Amazon.

Or you can just buy a triangular sanding pad for your multi master/multitool and do the same thing without buying another tool

I just got one. It’s a game changer finishing up small pieces! Thanks for the heads up when it went on sale. Super happy with this purchase!

@@khiaraslaw They’re currently $269 USD for the tool, battery, charger and bag kit. Sale price when I got mine was right at $200. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to go on sale often. I waited months for this deal.

What is the difference in using this versus an oscillating multi tool?
@Lets_Go_Canes
@Lets_Go_Canes Ай бұрын
None. And Dewalt makes a compact 12V version.
@robertevans4753
@robertevans4753 Ай бұрын
It is an orbital sander, not just a back and forth sweeping motion that the oscillating tool performs. If yourenot needing a fine finish then the oscillating tool with the sanding head will do what you need.

Did you see the new detail sander Milwaukee going to introduce? It has a small round head. I think it’s probably designed for close automotive body work

@@tubalcain1 Milwaukee has the slightly different shaped pad to which no one else makes. That’s the difference and maybe his point I suppose.

I've generally been unimpressed with cordless sanders in general and any sander without dust collection port is junk.
