Thank you LE. I do have a suggestion... Load up multiple syringes with both dewormer and vitamins. Then while you have a goat you can do both at the same time and not have to chase them down again.

I can see where you could really use a chute area between the two pastures... a place to set up all the meds you are giving them and keep one animal at a time secured during this process, that way they can't escape in between... lol Once the get their meds open open a second gate into the next pasture. But this was funny to watch... lol

Yes with your set up, I would use a stanchion treats and the pastures to help. I used my goats for packing years ago, and a stanchion helped me milk, trim hooves, and give meds among any and all things goat related.

Love Jake’s giggle reaction to LE’s sensitivity to the goats being rough/ animals. Jake is going to have to be the one to do the more hands-on aggressive work with the Little’s and Big’s.

Aww!! I love how pebbles check on both roxy and chip when they were dewormed. Even sissy was checking on her mama but mama was mad😊 i love how pebbles and one of the golden girl was playing.. they are technically half sisters who r playing ❤

When I got your FB message when you had seen me post a prayer request on my personal Facebook page about my dying Mom it meant the world to me to know somebody as famous as you and with so many followers as you would stop long enough to check on somebody you have never met. I know I’m one of the original followers so you may feel like you know me better possibly. But I’m sure with your heart and the kind soul you have, I know you bound to check in on others too. I know last December when my Dad passed away after his long and agonizing battle with cancer/broken hip/not being able to walk, when you messaged me to tell me you would be praying for me it meant the world to me then too. Acts of kindness mean so much to people who are hurting. My fiancé and I watch all of your guys videos together Sunday mornings and when you messaged me I had asked him to see who the notification was. He was equally impressed with your kind soul. You will be blessed in Heaven for sure, if not on this side of Heaven.

11:30 they’re on edge because they are feeding off of your energy you obviously stressed trying to catch these babies and they can feed off your stress plus they’re feeding off the stress of the others. It’s kind of hard not to be stressed out so it’s going to happen.

Good job, LE, Just a suggestion for next time you have to help with the deworming and Vitamin B12: have both syringes drawn up with the doses of both meds. That way, once you have a goat trapped between your legs, you can give both doses before you release the goat. It’s easier that way, instead of letting the goat go, then draw up the syringe with the other medication, then catch the goat again to give him/her the second dose. By then the goat will be apprehensive and harder to catch.

You guys did a great job. Me, I would bring each one separate into the barn or wherever. One or two people bring and takes them back, one gives the meds. Like an assembly line. Reduces your chances of being rammed. But I love the shenanigans too so that was fun for me as a viewer.

This was an eye opener! Glad it’s over, for a little while, anyway! Thanks, LE and Jake for sharing! Now…to find the other 2 videos! Blessings

I follow blue cactus dairy goats. She did all 6 breeding bucks and I think 26 does. She gave the boys baths plus did hoof trimming along with deworming, selinum and copper bullus. Definitely check out how they do it. They use one of the milk stands makes it much easier. Plus you could bring goats in from one pasture to another to know you got everyone plus less to deal with.
