I loved this love story but the ending left me utterly speechless and sobbing. The story is so well written and shows how deeply these two loved eachother not just romanticly but at times platonically. It's one of the best things I've watched and I have watched a lot and I'm very impressed that Netflix did something worth watching that teaches you something about life

One Day is the best ive seen on Netflix or anywhere for that matter, with so many lessons. Our time on this planet is limited, appreciative your loved ones, dont waste time. Live your best life. ❤

in my head the story ended at episode 12. they got married, had babies and lived their unboring lives together

This series was just amazing. Both actores were stunning. I watch this constanly and love it more every time. A total love story, just beautiful

man i got SCAMMED. It was advertised as a rom-com, and i went into it blind (i didn't watch the movie or read the book, but i defo will do sometime) AND I CRIED SO DAMN MUCH.

I have watched 'one day' over and over. First, Dex is so~~~attractive and acts so brilliantly. Emma is just real so I was captured! Second, so sophiscated directing Third, They are our life just real and touching. If their time has been longer......I love this drama as healing my heart Thanks !

Hits so hard this series. I lived and loved and danced through what i regarded the last great decade the 90s .

The problem with Dexter is that he would always introduce her as a friend. She would always be in the friend zone while he would be hooking up with other girls. Also, he would never like be in a relationship with other girls or even with her I mean that’s just real fucked up there. He said that he was OK hooking up with her but not getting attached. I guess at the end when he got engaged and had to take care of of a baby who wasn’t even his in the first place this is in the movie I mean I seen the movie already and I know how an I’m not sure because it’s a bit different. But he just does not wanna admit that he has feelings for her and I guess he just scared to be in a relationship with her and he treats her like a friend and she really really likes him and she would like to be something more than just a friend but I guess she lost a shot when she learned that she was getting married and now that he was going to be a Dad and it was her turn to move on.

I think leo who played dexter his acting was amazing .. emma is goid but lacked the intensity of emotion of chemistry lacked that spark she was a bit emotionaly wooden tbh if she had a softer warmth .. he was brilliant this got to me this habibg lost my soul mate. Hit home... but bloody good i just kept wwaiting to feel that real spark ..

I just think Anne Hathaway's Emma was better but Leo Woodall's Dex is so much better here. The movie makes him seem so much more of an a**hole and I couldn't stand him in some scenes. But I liked the series but didn't like the chemistry between them. And it's not only about the appearance of actors. I just don't think Emma could really show emotions. I think she is a good actor but I only got the emotions from Dex's side. Emma's feelings always felt intellectualized. Their talks weren't synchronized, that's why the chemistry didn't occur to me that much. I still liked the series but I think it affected the believability a lot. I was not trying to compare it to the movie but I couldn't stop at some point because I couldn't really feel anything when they finally came together. Just the problem with casting imo, but I think the main character felt more like Dex than Em because of the emotional component only being there. Strong women depictions don't mean not emotion-showing.

I like more One Day with Jim Sturgess and Anne Hathaway only one o two hours.

Didnt like the series, I didnt think there was any chemistry between the two, I loved Dexter's performance, and Emma is a good actress in a quirky way but her performance on this series was not my cup of tea. The crazy jumps from episode to episode and the gaps made it difficult to follow up, so I would give it a 4. It does not beat the movie.
