The Pylontech allows up to 50 amp charge and discharge and you can parallel up to 16 without and extenal device.

Based on one of your other videos I will like to see how these 2 batteries behave at 95 percent discharged and where you end up running your voltage settings for charge and discharge parameters. What made you decide on the pylontech? Keep the videos coming!

I am not sure I answered. I would never run them to 95% discharge. We do 90% with these. The older batteries we did 80%. Thank you for watching and commenting

Charge discharge voltages are set by bms, you can change charge/discharge current from inverter.

What's the max Kw that the invertor can charge the batteries at? Can you parallel up the invertors for use on a bigger battery bank?

Hi, How is the Dyness battery BMS is operating with Deye inverter? Is any communication issues since? I am on the process with obtaining a Lifepo4 considering between Dyness or Pylontech US5000c Which battery brand will you reccomend more for the Deye inverter? Thank you

Greetings Dr. Solar… you are missed, hope all is well with you and yours & the cats. 1-yr on, how have these batteries performed & how often have you had to update the battery firmware or the Deye firmware? I’m now running on lithium having redone my system and am on a UU-24-100 battery (Chinese). Have retired my panels and have to redo them again as I’m maxing out my MPPSOLAR solars 145Voc capacity this winter so most days my solar is off and am charging my battery off the grid. Hoping to upgrade inverter to 5Kw Sunsynk and US5000 Pylontech and use 1 MPPT as I have 12 x 250Watt panels. Am excited about the development so far & have had 2-3 blackouts and my battery bank was adequate.

Congrats on your new acquisition. I am sure you can see the difference between your new battery and the old. Like night and day. The kittens have developed personality and have started to hunt. They have killed a few pigeons in the compound. Most of the systems that we run don't require firmware updates. We have yet to do battery firmware updates. So far so good. Thank you for following up. Once again congrats on your new battery.

@@drsolar I’m still at beginning stage and haven’t run a full stress test on the system right down to my LBC (Low Battery Cutoff) yet, will do that soon.

how can you check battery cycles in this system? i m using CAN to inverter and cant see such information.

Sadly you can't. That information is in the battery. Deye can't read it from most of the battery

do batteries go to idle when fully charged? my only goes in standby for 2-3 seconds before going to charge or discharge discharge for 40-60 seconds.

Depends on the settings on your controller. If you have Bms communications it will go into idle mode until a load large enough comes in and pushes it out of idle

Quattro inverters are Victrons. Not sure they have hybrids yet. Can you describe the inverter and state the model number

Yes same with me, i didn't fully understand there video instructions, thats why i am asking to the people who have enough experience in installation of that inverter,

I don't quite understand what you are trying to accomplish. You want it to run using the grid during the day and then run on batteries at night? Is that what you are asking? I would think you would want the opposite.

Hello from Ukraine! I have been using a similar set for several days. I can't find where to limit battery charging to 80-90%. As soon as it is possible to charge from the sun or the network, the battery is charged to 100%. To save the battery, I would like not to charge it completely!
