Care and maintenance of lead acid is not as hard as anyone lets on. This battery bank is exposed to the elements, not conditioned properly and was doomed from the onset. The new craze has its' own pitfalls - primarily the cost right out of the gate.

Sorry to bother you but I am confused in one thing If I don't click ( the ✓) for grid charge for 2 am to 5 am battery 60%. If my battery drop more than 60% st 3am what will happen? Will it use battery? Or no power for the house? @@drsolar

Ive dealt with Yohako. You're looking at an "Alaba version" 😅. In essence, someone has opened a genuine battery and replaced the cells... OR more commonly, they've taken a 10kwh battery and badged it as a 15 kwh one (with a printed sticker). Thats probably what the CEO was trying to tell you. I'd suggest you go to their warehouse, pick a random battery and test it. If I was them, I'd allow you do it to dispel the cloud

We need to respond with facts and well thought through positions. Not insults and emotional drivel. PS: IF Yohako batteries ARE proven to be fraculent; I'll definitely keep an open mind

@drsolar I have quite a few Yohako products on my premises. I'd be very happy for you to come test them anytime you feel like. And yes I do agree about the reconditioned cells part. But like you said BYD (their old battery) and now EVE (their latest battery cells) are quite high quality. My suspicion is the 230aH cell was reconditioned and they now sell it as a 200aH cell to account for degradation. I'm almost certain an Alaba reseller changed the sticker and sold a 9.6kwh battery as a 14.4 kwh one. Ive just seen you now distribute Solax in Nigeria. I'll reach out this evening to discuss potentially doing some business in that direction

Hello, I have a Deye 12 kw inverter, if I disconnect the photovoltaic panels, it goes into restart, the display is off and still wants to start.... the same way in the evening when I have no voltage in the panels (it has no batteries)

Awesome, most people comment without watching the video..... especially these Alaba boys the battery will not work for the client because it is undersized (same thing you explained) It will work perfectly for anyone drawing 100A or less than 100A simple The batteries are repurposed....probably not new( though they are good byd cells) Your point was clearly articulated for those who know what they're doing

Hello Doug. Put the inverter on bypass at your change over. Turn off your grid input breaker into the inverter and you can run your generator. The greenery is calming to look at. How have you been? Did you get your internet up and running?

@@drsolar I realize that I probably can't run the houses AND charge the batteries simultaneously. We are happy Starlink users. Internet is no issue anymore. Now we need to prove ourselves against the blackouts. The climate disruption is going to cause more trouble in that regard. Winter is rearing its cold head. A subtropical climate means that it still can get somewhat cold. But zero degrees or below seems to be a thing of the past.

Great video and advice. May I suggest to gradually add more panels so that the cumulative watts may be sufficient to charge the batteries on cloudy days. The money used to buy the fuel to run the generator can be invested in getting these panels.

I used the same method for my deye 8kw to my 2.8kva generator and one good thing with the Deye is that it has option where u can indicate the generator rated watts and generator shaving power which I set both to 2000w so with the generator i can charge and even load my equipment the inverter handles all that regardless whether my load is more than the power of the generator it will draw from the battery and when the load is reduced it will start charging the battery again

Wow !!! This is a great development. Finally, we have a low voltage option for users that have Lifep04 batteries or lead acid. The use of high voltage batteries had also raised the price of the product but with this option, i am expecting a modest reduction. This is a very good alternative to the Deye 6kva inverter that gives the user all the benefits that Solax is known for. We will be personally interested in recommending this product if the pricing is done right. 2. For increasing subscriber numbers, we need more content on Solax and solar in general especially for farms which you have experience on. The more content the more we are able to share and your one of the few Solax channnels on the internet. Well done Chris

Thank you for watching and commenting. Turn the AC input breaker off. Turn the PV breaker off and then there is a power button (silver) with blue lights surrounding it. Push it and the inverter will go off.

Great stuff again Dr. Had my eyes for on-grid with SolaX hybrid 3phase X4G4 10k inverter with a 10k battery but only 5k panels with plan to add more panels later. Need to use EPS and also generator as have rain water small pump in case of blackout. Considering also the matebox kit. Anything else to consider in such a setup? I will be net-metering so on-grid, but many tell me why and why not go off-grid. So is there a setup with a single inverter that can be net-metering but also off-grid with more panels without power company aware of the extra production (the off-grid side)?
