I love the idea of this game looking like it was shot with anamorphic lenses but the HUD really clashes with that aesthetic. If they want it to look like a film (which is great), they should go the Naughty Dog/Ghost of Tsushima route and have a minimal and dynamic HUD.

all they have to do is put some better footage of the game on youtube they did it with Avatar. unless its deliberate to hide the games possable flaws, eg frame paceing.

Whenever there's slow walk sequences with intentional slow-pan camera it's usually to hide the fact that there's really not much to do at all and filler content is needed for the video. Rarely will players waste time, doing slow walk everywhere.

Star Wars has been run to the ground, so the quality of the feed for the game's presentation really doesn't matter.

It doesn't look like you can fly around on planets. Flight to a planet whilst appearing seamless is hiding a loading screen. I'm guessing there will be clouds above every location when you come in to land. You only have a limited area in space above planets to fly around in. So it's Starfield with speeder bikes.

I do actually think playing the HUD is indeed the newbie/casual way off playing games. You know, compared with (t)asking people to actually draw their own darn conclusions from the info presented within the logic of the game world.

I saw downgrade compared with first trailer, also it never showed main character face, Lol as Antonio Failble did.

Very interested in this game. The looks of the main character feel very artificial, though. Deliberately uglyfied, and unnatural. I wonder why they felt that was necessary. I wish they had implemented a character creator. I would have much preferred to play the robot sidekick. He looks cool and tough.

The combat is really bland and uninteresting in outlaws. The gunplay, takedowns, stealth. At least from what they have shown. Jedi survivor is far superior.
