Just got into Anderson Paak recently and I knew I recognized his voice. I was like damn he sounds just like that guy featured on that Dumbfoundead song i used to mess with 4 years ago. Shit, I was right and here we are.

I remember around mid 2012 I got hooked on Traphik, Dumbfoundead, Breezy Lovejoy, D-Pryde (sauga gang) and it's crazy to see how they've all blown up, Traphik as Tim Delaghetto, Dumbfoundead not yet mainstream but with a much bigger fanbase, partially from rap battles, Breezy Lovejoy now as Anderson Paak being nominated for Grammys, D-Pryde becoming a kind of hero in the GTA. Makes me really happy to see them all with their newfound success, although it does make me kinda sad that they aren't doing it all together like I had hoped

i had the strangest journey in figuring out that this was anderson paak. i'm sat on the toilet and the chorus goes through my head whilst thinking about a party i'll be going to next week. then i think "hey, the chorus dude sounds a lot like anderson paak, i'm sure he looks like him too". so i return to this video after 6 whole years and find that it IS my man paak ayyyyy! it's so weird how the mind works 🤯
