Hi, thanks for the review. I appreciate that you aren't a fan of chinese watch movements, but if you're going to review one, at least give credit where it's due. To have a accuracy of 3 seconds per day is about as good as it gets. If I bought a high end watch and it had a 3 seconds per day accuracy, I'd be happy. Yes it isn't perfect BUT IT COST $60, why would it be perfect for that money? Personally I prefer Seagull movements but Mingzhou movements are ok, for the money, they're fine. One thing you should always check with chinese movements bought uncased is that they are very often not oiled in the factory, so it might be worthwhile checking for that. A lot of the problems that people report from these movements are due to a lack of lubrication, these problems tend to surface 5 or 6 months after the watch goes into service. The movement you have just reviewed is a high beat movement and good lubrication is vital.

Somebody, like myself, who's on a pension or is on a tight budget could make themself a nice little custom timepiece at a very reasonable cost so, I for one, am definitely interested in seeing more of the same! In fact I thought the stats were better than I would've expected from 'out the box'!

Mine did not work from the beginning (in a Pagani watch). Absolute rubbish.

I have it in a watch that I have used every day for about 4 years. I confirm that it is very precise as you said in the review and that I have never had any problems. Optimal.

I've had 2 of these in GMT watches. Both barely lasted past a year. Now they won't wind. Winding with the crown makes a grinding noise.

Btw, how is it performing?

how to adjust it exactly? mine runs now on -30s/d which is way off, and the results in your video is amazing, neither my nh34 / nh35a / miyota 8211 / 7s26 movements can produce this accuracy (they vary between 5-10s/d , which would be more than enough for me for this movement)

How do you remove the crown then?

Hello, do you know if the Chinese movements from the factory have sufficient lubrication, or is it better to have a service before use?

Is that mingzhu? I just bought that one, I though can fit in my case, but when i applied to the case, to loose, the movement n dial moving when setting the clock or calender 😂
