You are the only reactor I have seen so far that caught that he motioned at the end and everybody “died” or passed back out again! This whole video gave me this feeling that he is some sort of immortal that is feeding off of the people in the video and at the end when he leaves, it is him getting his fill and leaving with all of there souls or whatever the smoke was supposed to be in the music video’s story! I think this just might be my favorite music video so far this year. 🥰

Jackson Wang is a true all around artist/concept king like Taemin (my Ult/God) and I’d highly recommend checking out his other MVs. 100 Ways is one of my favorite MVs ever. And you definitely need to react to more Taemin! His catalogue is so varied and all of it is amazing. He’s art personified.

Jackson Wang is amazing. He's from Hong Kong, and debuted as a member of GOT7. He's also a soloist, and last year put together a hip hop group of solo artists called PANTHEPACK (a play on panda pack as they're all Chinese). He's sings, dances, raps, founded his own record label, is lead designer for his own fashion brand, is really involved in the direction and production of his own MVs, and was also an Olympic fencer as a child. Basically insane talent, and I want just a smidge of his skills. His work ethic is ridiculous as well. He's also super charming and charismatic. If you wanted to see more of his stuff I love 100 Ways (self written solo song), Pretty Please (collab with Galantis), and BUZZ (debut PANTHEPACK track and a totally different sound to the other two). There are other tracks but I think those are a good starting point.

I think that the reason you might see so much of a resemblance between Jacksong Wang and Taemin is that both of them are heavily influenced by the all time King of Pop; Michael Jackson.

I actually wanted to recommend you to check him out, but you did it first. Jackson is an awesome artist and person, really hardworking and his songs are always so different. He also a member of GOT7 which is currently inactive as a group but they didn't disbanded, just focused on solo for now. Some of their old songs are pure gold and one of the best in kpop.

Jackson and Taemin are two very different artists. Jackson is very masculine and Taemin is gender fluid. Even so, the comparison is definitely a compliment! Taemin is a member of Shinee, and Shinee is one of my favorite Korean group, next to BigBang. In my opinion, I see Post Malone and Eminem merging out of him. But, seriously, Jackson is so versatile, and I love him best in "Made It" and "California Remix". Thank you for your reaction, I really enjoyed it!

Great reaction once again. I can see why he would remind you of Taemin, this MV being your introduction to Jackson Wang. But I think the resemblance is mostly in the visuals. Their sound is pretty different to me. Taemin's sound is very distinctive, very "Taemin-esque"' for lack of a better word. Jackson has a little more diversity, some of his songs being more pop, some more hip-hop. The smoke was live, the effects practical and they had max 2 takes only for each part. That was it. The hall staircase was improvised on the day and because of the smoke effect is why they had to limit exposure putting really tight constraints on filming time. 2 days to learn choreo before filming I think he said. Crazy. But brilliant. Recommend 100ways, LMLY, pretty please, and the follow up literally the next chapter to blow is Cruel from the magic man album out sept 9th. Which will have three chapters blow and cruel are the ‘fire’ chapters. 👏🏻🔥

Fun fact: Jackson has an Olympic symbol tattoo cuz he competed in the Olympics for Fencing before he decided to go into music. I believe his Father also teaches Fencing. There is a clip of him teaching Fencing with James Corden.
