A kid I went to school with just died of cancer 2 days ago. This was bad timing and now I want to cry again. He was only 21, and he fought hard. Cancer is brutal and my heart is broken for his family 😭 Edit: I knew him, I wasn’t close, but just knowing he was so young and had his whole life in front of him. Taken away just like that. It’s just so incredibly sad.

I actually had cancer and i was bald and though I was alone in the fight but my mama helped me and this inspired me now my mom helps kids around the world. this story made me feel less alone. And I’m a survivor and know how it is like to have this and i learned you would just own it!

I soooooo agree and I stood up for a person in my school for being bullied for having cancer the cancer she had made her be a little person for the rest of her life she got bullied because she was small 😭😭 and I yelled at the people who were bulling her and they looked at me like I was crazy but it made that girl with cancer know that people will stand up for her I wish I can see her again but she’s in a different class so I still see her at school but I never get to talk to her but it looks like she is getting better bye the minute I hope those bullies learned a important lesson because there gonna now how it feels to get bullied one day I just now it

I’m so so greatful dhar did this video as when I was 6 years old I had blood cancer (leukemia) and I lost all my hair... in school everyone called me a freak... even my best friends... but I did it, i survived! I’m now 13 years old and completely cancer free. So to everyone watching this with any kind of health problems, I want you to know that you are so so awesome and you’re going to be just fine! Nah not a lot of people bully kids with bald heads because most of em know why they have it. It also would be a bad look if their bullying a kid with cancer so that’s another reason people don’t do it. This is still a good story though.

My mother had cancer 11 years ago and she lost her hair almost immediately. When I actually heard about it, it was a really difficult time for me because I was studying in a different place. I was really distant from my friends, I wasn’t mean to anyone. But luckily my mother then got better.

People with cancer go through way too much, and to sit there and watch these cancer patients endure insults and opinions makes me mad. They can’t fight through it alone, so it’s our job to lift them up so we can win the cancer fight with them. ❤️

As a grown woman, I know hair is important to women but its only hair and it will grow back! It feels good during the summer and in the shower when cold water hits my scalp.

my fourth grade teacher used to have breast cancer, I’m in fifth grade now and tomorrow if I get a chance to see her I’m going to hug her and tell her that I’m so glad that she was able to teach me even though she had cancer.
