Your observations are spot on Dhruv! I personally want creators to make movies like "Thappad" . That one movie created a revolution and became voice for thousands of women. Such movies are the need of the hour wherein a reflection of society is presented with an attempt to change the things around in right direction. @@aman-zz1ft Conviction rate on such cases are on downward trend, standing at meagre 26.5%. Whereas pendenancy rate is at 95%. Which means only 5% cases are processed in a year for crime against women. False rape cases are an issue. But if you look at overall cases of crime against women, its just an rounding error. Nothing more. Plus many High Courts have given revised ruling on "rape on pretense of marriage", which will take care most of the false cases.

Hum apne ishwar aur uske banaye prakirti (nature) par viswas karte hain. Aapko hindu dharm ke baare mein deep knowledge janna hain toh swami Vivekananda ki biography ko study kare aur archary paramhans yoginand ji ki book -"autobiography of a yogi " ko study kare. Waise sister aapke aapka jain dharm mubarak hume humara hindu dharm mubarak.

A Christian who grew up in Bihar.. i studied in Catholic school where education quality was top class.. we were recited Ramayana and Mahabharata. Being also a bible theologian.. i personally feel people should read Ramayana and Mahabharata first before watching any series related to it no matter how good it may be. Thats called respect to the religion you follow. Why do people call themselves hindu or Christian or Muslim when they havent read their books in the first instance. Shame on director.

Ramayana concept is not portraying Ram as good and Ravana as evil. The core concept of the Ramayana is "make good decisions to have a good future." Ram represents the people. Even though Ram is young, strong, rich, a king, has superpowered weapons, and the blessings of God, if the choice-making is not good, his future would be tragic. Like he lost his beloved Sita in the end. Similarly, Even if people are wealthy, healthy, powerful, and blessed by God, if they make wrong decisions, they will end up in tragedy. This is the concept. The Ravana portion is only a part of Ram's fighting skill. (LIKE BUILD UP SCENES FOR HERO IN ACTION MOVIES) 😂😂😂 But as usual, Northies take Ravana as evil and consider every dark-skinned person as evil. This is what we call unconscious racism. And it benefits a particular community and politicians to separate people and earn profit from it. 😂😂😂

I am actually a christian keralite who had my primary schooling in a brahmin school in chennai, have celebrated so many hindu festivals due to my neighbors welcoming nature and learned bharatnatyam for a decade now. I recall the time i performed exerpts from ramayanam and my teacher advicing us to perform it with utmost spirituality. And that spiritual diginity is what the creators of this movie lacked. KANTARA !! The makers of that film have nailed it on so many levels. You have culture, spirituality, intrigue, tribal life, exploitation, justice, all of that carefully and tastefully combined into a fantastic story that just leaves you spellbound. I don't even understand Kannada and I still watched it more than 20 times in Kannada with subtitles. The state that movie left my mind in was profoundly different from any other cinematic experience i've ever had.
