Thanks for giving simple & effective tips to control blood sugar levels. It will be so kind of you if very kindly consider my following points and advise. I am 62 years old, having problem of arthritis, severe backache so face difficulty in exercise or long walk. Secondly having enlarged prostate, causes frequent urination so avoid drinking more water. So in my case solutions to control blood sugar aggravate my problems i.e. arthritis & frequent urination. Please suggest.

Sir, I dont have any symptom like frequent urination or thrust, but when I checked my Sugar level due to pain in my left hand, so we found out that the sugar level is much high. My fasting BS remains in range of 140-150 and BS PP BFAST is at 180-190. But PP Lunch/Dinner is at 120-135. Unable to sort the rise of BS in morning. Am physically incapacitated, unable to walk ! Managing so far thru diet (i dont take anything above 50 GI or 10 GL) and some desi nuskhe. Please advise.

It is called dawn fenomenon when sleeping your sugar levels go down drastically so the brain commands the lever to release sugar in the blood to sustain our body till we take breakfast.fasting sugar 140-150 is not alarming

Doctor Saheb, as T2 diabetic, I would like to tell you that some daals like tuver, mung, and Beans generally tend to elevate my blood glucose level. Also overnight soaked methi water I feel contributed to small weight loss. At least this is what we concluded. Any thoughts? Thank you from USA.

Methi Dana has a lot of fiber just like Arjun chhal powder. If you will eat a lot of any of these, they will drop the levels of Cholestrol in your heart immediately, thus it might help you with Diabetes and Heart problems for some time, but it comes with some unknown side effects. Once cholestrol level goes down, automatically your Testosterone level goes down, bcoz Cholestrol is required by your body to make Testesteron hormones. Once your Testo levels go down, your body's muscle mass decreases and you feel like you have lost some weight but in reality the muscle mass from your shoulders, arms, thighs decreases a bit. And once Testo levels go down, your sex power and penis erection is also hit as well. So, stop taking Methi Dana water or Arjun chaal if you take, bcoz it might reduce diabetes for a week or two but not permanently, but the side effects might hit you for a long long time. The best solution for you is just do the daily exercise (specially Leg exercises like squats etc.) including Yoga, it will raise your Testo levels again and maintain diabetes as well, Google or KZfaq for 'Hindu Pushups' and do it if your body allows. And do a brisk walk as much as you can, like around 10 KMs or more everyday. If you do this you won't face any diabetes consequences ever in your entire life. Also, Do Not Eat maida, refined oils and Sugar (very less)ever. And if you can remove or reduce Wheat/Rice/Potato from your eating that would be better. And I would suggest you 2 items to eat and that is Pomegranate, eat 1 big Pomegranate every, you can drink juice as well but eating raw one would be more beneficial, bcoz it produces Nitric oxide in your body which is vital for Sex and other functions in the body which are badly hit by the diabetes and second is 'Kaala chana specially bhuje huye kaale chane' which we easily get from the market or any kiryana store. Kala chana will help you throughout your life with diabetes, it also keeps you full so you eat less aa per your body's actual requirement, and thus it keeps sugar levels in balance. And reduce unnecessary stress from your life and take a proper deep night sleep. Drink very less water after 6pm if you sleep around like 9-10 pm. And a suggestion, always keep a check on your body's Sodium and Pottasium levels all your life. Bcoz you might be having some complications but no one would be able to diagnose, but in fact your these 2 levels could be down. These are some of the eating habits and if you want to ask something more you can always reply me. Just don't forget...Walking is the key in diabetes not the medications. 🙏🙏

Dr Sir, for diabetic person, does it make difference to have two-three larger meals in a day instead of 5-6 smaller meals? Or does this not make any difference at all in diabetes management?? 🤔

5-6 meals? No way sir. Just stick to only TWO meals a day. Watch your Diet strictly. Plenty of water & regular exercise. That's the "KEY"

Nothing new. I already do all these for years but no benifits in diabetes management. Diet only is the key factor to manage diabetes. Sharing my experience. 1) bhindi and other fibers - no major benifits. 2) badminton I play daily for an hour but this makes me more hungry which results in eating more and high blood sugar. However, if I walk after dinner if helps in maintaining my next day fasting sugar. 3) I already drink plenty of water no major benifits in diabetes. We should drink in moderation. 4) weight loss- I lose 14 kg, 72 from 86 but sugar pattern is same. It rises same time as soon as I cheat any of my controlled diet. 5) - methi pani - it helped me but it may or may not suit everyone. I face stomach problems as methi is hot in nature. 6) eating low sugar or low glycemic food and disciplined healthy lifestyle work for me only in diabetes management. Please don't be in misconception that if you are doing any of these so you will have liberty to eating your normal meals. You have to control your diet in any case.

Fasting sugar hammasha jyadah hi hogi kyuki mind hukam Karta Hai Ki Jag Gaya Hai energy Ki jarurat hogi liver subah me storage sugar release Katra Hai.Tension mat lo.250. Se after meal 2 ghante ke baad hi sahi Hai.

मुझे डायबिटीज है.लो कार्ब डाइट 70 ग्राम लेने पर एनर्जी लेवल काफी घट जाती है.चावल खाने पर ही मैं अच्छा चल लेता हूँ और अच्छा शारीरिक काम कर सकता हूँ.जब मैं कहे अनुसार चावल या गेहूँ की रोटी नहीं लेता या कम लेता हूँ तो मेरी शक्ति कम हो जाती है.सुस्ती हो जाती है.

Dear Anoopam, bina dare (Without any fear) aapko jisme energy feel ho woh aur achchi quantity mein khaiya ( abhi chawal aur roti ka jitna intake usme sirf 20 per cent Kam kr dijiye), regular exercise kijiye, comedy films ke chhote chhote clips din mein 10 to 15 minutes dekhiye, khana khane ke baad 7-8 minutes vajrasana mein bethiye aur bindas jieye..aapko kuchh nhi hoga..apna experience bta Raha hun..Bar bar BP aur sugar check krne ke chakkar mein mat padiye.. hmesha yaad rakhiye ki jo dar gya samjo mar gya... Shaan se jieye.. good luck..

@@pradiptrivedi3670 आपकी सलाह बिल्कुल सही है.मै तो सुबह या शाम कुछ बडा जमीनी किचन गार्डेन में काम करता हूँ.एक्सरसाइज नहीं करता.रुटीन वाला ये काम मेरे बस का नहीं.ये समय खाऊ लगता है.तब तक मैं घर में तमाम ठोक पीट मेहनत का काम जिसमें श्रम लगे या बगीचे की सफाई करता हूँ.मुझे शुगर डेवलप बाइक की सवारी से शुरू हुआ था.कोरोना से पहले टेस्ट कराया था.तब गर्मी और बरसात के सेडेन्ट्री लाईफ से शुगर 300 से कुछ अधिक चला गया था.पैदल चलने लगा.और डाक्टर ने मेटफार्मिन और ग्लिमेपेराइड दी तब से टेस्ट नहीं किया. अब तो नार्मल लगता है अपने को.बाकी मुझे एलोपैथी की दवाओं का बहुत ज्ञान है.शायद डाक्टर से अधिक.इसलिये अस्पताल नहीं जाना होता.बाकी खाना पीना शुद्ध है.
