കൂർക്കയിലും ചേമ്പിലുമൊക്കെ സാധാരണയായി പച്ച നിറം കാണപ്പെടുന്നതിന് കാരണം അത് മണ്ണിന് പുറത്തേയ്ക്ക് സൂര്യപ്രകാശവുമായി സമ്പർക്കത്തിൽ വരുന്നതു കൊണ്ടാണ്. നന്ദി ഡോക്ടർ .
