How to stand still as a barbarian to activate inner calm in controller does anyone know?

I literally have the same settings on mine. I basically set it up similar to my Diablo 3 settings since I was used to playing this way. The only thing I had to change based on your suggestions was the lock target. I completely agree with this, if you’re not used to utilizing target lock it can make you vulnerable to more attacks. Especially if you accidentally engage the target lock and want to attack a different target which is what happened to me 😂 thank you for the great info I hadn’t found much info on how to setup your controller if playing on a console so this was very helpful. I have a PS4 console but I use a PS5 controller as I have small hands for a girl. I fee with a PS5 controller I can reach the toggle and settings much easier but of course everyone plays differently so this is just what works for me.

They need to make right stick do some aiming, at least on some spells. With corpse explosion I just have to pray I hit the right corpse. As well having all aim be based around the left stick means you’re constantly moving around and it hurts your dps in fights with a lot of fights where enemies are trying to do area attacks and control zones. PC: find safe spot, keep attacking; console: RUN!

This was helpful. I played Diablo 3 on controller and the layout was good by default, but Diablo 4 added the evade ability. Having that on circle didn't feel good at all. I found your video trying to find a good layout for when the game launches next week. Good stuff.

Heya! Apologies in advance as I've never connected a controller to my PC before. Now I've connected my PS5 Dual Sense to my pc via bluetooth but it's not working in D4. Ingame menu is blank and I couldn't input anything via controller. Or does it only work via USB plugged instead?

I main necro and it bugs me that I cannot use curse and summon golem at the same time, until I noticed I can map my evade to L3...

Hi, how can I get my game to detect my PS5 controller? I'm able to use my ps5 controller with Steam games with no problem. But when I open Diablo 4 from battlenet the game doesn't recognize my controller. I just managed to make it work using a program called DualSensex that emulates my PS5 controller to an Xbox controller. the problem with this is that the buttons overlay in game are the buttons from an Xbox controller and I want to have the PS5 buttons overlay. Edit: I want to play the game with the controller connected with bluetooth. With an USB cable the game detects my controller and show the overlay correctly.

WIth all these buttons as they are how do you activate the wrath of beserker on PS5 because at the moment im stuck with the layout and im losing a skill. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

I hope you can help me, my controller "X box series wireles" doesnt work properly on the game; when i press any key the layout changes in to the controller buttons, but i can do nothing, nore move, habilities, nothing, but it seems "it works" because as i mentioned before, the layout changes in to the x box buttons, and i dont know how to fix it. I hope you understan me what i trying to explain =) Thanks.

Is there a way to bind the “pin” function on the map? It’s a map right click with a mouse.

i'm playing on PC, and i want a ps controller, does the ps3 work or should i buy the 4/5?

ive set my Evade to left joystick click like u have but i keep having the keyboard poping up everytime i use it is there a way to prevent keyboad from popping up on the screeen, is anoying also eventhough i put evade to the left joystick still evades wtih "B" lol idk what to do

I am having trouble in setting up the controls on my xbox controller it seems everytime im trying to unbind or keybind some buttons it keeps on going somewhere and it seems A button is fucked up always! any work around on this one? or its just a bug?

Any ideas on why my sound mutes when I plug in my ps5 controller into my pc? lol also when I press my home button on controller it pulls up my steam account.

I tried the l3 as dodge but I prefer LT for dodge and LB potion. Then have all my abilities on the right side. RT, RB, a, b, x, y. And I still have combine. Can be a pain sometimes. But otherwise this works the best for me. What I want is the ability to aim with RT. So I hold RT and move the right stick, like Diablo immortal(yes I know, but I played it briefly and how they did it, is better than d4 imo. Never gonna play immortal though. But casting blizzard etc. without that sucks. And they need to fix the length of teleport and leap for controllers. Otherwise they did an amazing job with controller imo!

Did u change these controls on PS5 or PC? If PC please tell me how the hell i get PS icons, instead of Xbox while playing with a PS controller.

When i was using my PS5 controller Wirelessly,it didn't work (Works on all other games with Steam. Connected via Cable it worked. So what do i need to do, to make it Wireless?

Changing evade to L3 sounds like a really good idea, I'll give it a try when the game comes out

mkb would be good for the ps5 I played the wizard class its damn hard to aim ... so I made a druid class

The combine interact and basic skill... on ps you have it unchecked but on the xbox video you leave it checked, why is that?

Thanks again for the controller update. I'm having a problem that I'm wondering if anyone else out there's having. My UI is not working properly inside the setup of the game. I had to turn down a couple settings on my PC, and I'm still having issues with the UI. Especially trying to set up all the different button settings, the screen keeps jumping around and it's been very, very difficult. If anyone has any ideas on what I could do to keep this from happening, that would be greatly appreciated. Happy hunting. Good luck to all.

What Blizzard really needs to do is add the ability to swap to a second set of skills. Only being able to use 5 skills with the Necro is annoying. I can’t even have the ultimate ability mapped because I need a spot to raise the skeletons.
