I'm determined to get to the bottom of this, and I hope you're following along with the journey.
It's another update in the dizzy saga, this week I actually went to have a blood test. The first blood test I've had since anxiety joined me in this life over 15 years ago.

Great job getting the lab work done. That is too bad about the delay for ENT evaluation. I have similar symptoms and thought the SAME thing this past summer. I had to get it checked out. Luckily I was able to get into an ENT quickly and then about 5 weeks later do a full work up (I am in the US). They looked at balance with eyes open & eyes closed, checking hearing, checking eustachian tubes, investigating vestibular system, eye movements, etc. It took over 3 hours! After all that, I do have Eustachian Tube dysfunction, so my ears don't clear pressure like they are supposed to. So they pop and crackle when I swallow, and I sometimes even have hissing or fluttering in my ear. Not usually a huge problem, but I notice it more when I'm sensitized I think. If I'm in the kitchen and open the fridge or over hot stove my ears will feel weird pressure and it makes me startle and get anxious. Sometimes even a tone in one ear that moves to the other. It's just weird and I think the anxiety/ear problem do feed off of each other. I think it will be good for you to get it checked out especially if you have any sinus or ear issues.

Mine feels like waves of being startled. Like a dizzy shocking feeling. Like an internal spin for a second. I’ve had blood work, ekg, and urine test and they said it was caused by anxiety

I have similar sensations. It's so hard to describe, I like the way you put it. For me it's kind of like a woosh, dropping sensations for a second or so. I do have Eustachian Tube dysfunction but I assume it's either that or anxiety or both. Just trying to accept it!

Bloods never bothered me in the least, quite happy to have them done and have had lots, the problem i have is that blood testing in the NHS is pretty limited and they dont tell you advanced tests are only actually done in certain situations ie the thyroid test they do is only the basic as poss one and you won't the in depth test of all thyroid function if sent to endocrinology as i did. The NHS doesn't try and get to the bottom of anything they only play whack-a-mole with symptoms which is precisely why my friend girlfriend died at 34 from bleeding on the brain despite begging the doctor for a scan for a year, my other friend sara was told she had ibs for 2 years and collapsed, minutes from death at 7 stone they found a grapefruit size infection and the list goes on. i have golberts btw, its genetic excess bilirubin in the blood and is a nothing burger.
