The bit at the end was funny. I wonder what the Atlantis series would have been like if Daniel had gone with them. Of course the SG1 series would have suffered without him, so maybe its just as well he didn't go.

He would overwhelm whoever the SGA group had doing his jobs. If SG1 had been cancelled soon after this, any of the SG1 characters (except for T’ealc) could have been sacrificed for the new show, but they did a proper spinoff rather than a sequel series.

I just noticed something: Morgan Le Fey says that the first human to set foot onto/into Atlantis after the Lanteans left was Dr Weir. Here we can clearly see that she's not the first through the gate. A small thing, but still...

McKay or no McKay it just seems stupid that Carter wasn't there for this. She is essential personnel and should have been on-hand the first time the SGC dialed another galaxy with a ZPM connected to the gate, also a first, in itself.

@@Utubesuperstar malp confirmed there was air and the immediate vicinity was clear The smart choice is to let the guys with guns go through first in case of automated defence systems, or an alien that can hide from the malp, or maybe there’s someone hiding where the malp can’t see waiting in ambush Point is that there’s a bunch of reasons you let the trained soldiers go first 😂

@@3adgamd3r I don’t disagree but they immediately moved to secure the area when they went in and the malp has loads of advanced radar sensors if there was an auto system then it doesn’t matter they die regardless
