Staggering performance, just the piano playing is beyond words, let alone the vocal.

All a privilege for those who have managed to see Diamanda on this tour. South America does not lose hope of seeing Diamanda in the next few years. Europe will soon know who is the most relevant voice of the music at the moment. Her singing and her presence are the antidote to this time in which art is indolent, light, banal, superfluous. The musical art of Diamanda, besides accompanying us in solitude, helps us to detoxify the senses of all the garbage with which the music press bombards us daily. All The Gods Bless The Queen.

Love her!! I first discovered her when she released Malediction and Prayer in 1998. I then went and bought her entire discography.

'Die Stunde Kommt' (words by Ferdinand Freiligrath, music by Diamanda Galas) Oh lieb, solang du lieben kannst!

@@sojourneroftheland well, her music makes me feel emotions, and that's a good enough reason for me to call it art Plus her work is quite political, and it is supposed to disturb and shock
