No 8 inch compares to same 10. Much bigger cone area and higher power handling w a 10

Hey, great reviews. I have the HXM 5.25 in my Plex Audio head unit and the HXM6.5 in my lowers. Looking to put 8" in the lowers now, will the HXM8 do a decent job in the lowers? Currently a Rockford amp, but going to move to Diamond Audio 4ch amp.

Carlos, I have DA NEO's in the inner fairing, lower fairing, and 6x9's in the lids pushed by a Euphoria Xpert 900.4. I basically have 450 watts to each speaker and still have an open channel. My question is could I put a pair of these in the bags too or even at only 450watts each the 6x9 and 8 would fight each other?

Hello Carlos i have a question. I see were the midbass driver is mounted near the back of the saddle bag. Does mounting the speaker there make better bass sound .

@nvsaudio is there an opening/cut out/ port on the side of the bag facing the wheel? How is the driver mounted to the bag, is that a spacer of some type you are using? Thank you!

Power is a little on the low side But it will work well I would Honestly wait for the new higher power diamond audio amps designed to power them They will be out soon .

Why couldn't the MSMB8Neo be used in a 8" lower fairing? I ordered the MSMB8's a wk to use in my lowers and was going to put poly-fil behind them.

Not enough air space for the driver to do it’s job and the lower will rattle . Call Diamond audio They will Tell you the same thing . These this rattle the saddle bags The lowers would be worst .

Over 150hz did the speaker seem to make a vibration rattling noise that's kind of what I experienced. Seemed to be the worst right around 200hz

Not a stupid question at all We use speakers like this for our car / truck clients that want it extremely extremely loud . They get way louder than car speakers

@@keithbell8690 Depends on how you have them wired At 300 watts each They will Sound the same as the hertz On 400 watts plus They will outperform the hertz

They would not perform well in lids in my opinion For lids I recommend the ms8neo

@@NVSAUDIO - Don’t understand why not. It’s the same volume of space. The only difference would be the plane the speaker is mounted on. As long as there’s enough space for speaker excursion and it’s the only speaker in the bag, why wouldn’t it sound just as good. Just trying to understand.

@@SGS_Rider_2020 Every one gets confused on this . The woofers need something to “load on “ the area under the fender acts like the trunk of a car when it’s closed and helps the woofers produce pressure. So In a car the subs are in a box ( the saddle bags ) and they play into the closed trunk ( space under the tail ) If you put the woofers in the lids , it’s like riding around with the Truck of the car open ( too much air for the woofers to try and pressurize .
